Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomEverything. We were directed to accomodation other than the hotel we had booked. It was awful.Not clean, no kettle, no reception, did not feel safe. Scruffy, just awful. Did not sleep at all. Noisy and a street light outside the window. Nothing felt clean, it did not feel in any way like hotel accomodation , And NOTHING like it is described in the brochure. Absolutely hated it. DO NOT BOOK HERE. No matter what the description is, just don't trust it.

United KingdomDirty, everything was broken, no tv. Found keys to our room in the kitchen that was open to everyone. Other people using our bathroom and kitchen area. Above a very loud pub. It was 32⁰ outside and the radiators were on hot with no way to turn them down or off. This place is more of a HMO than a apartment. Tap in the bathroom wouldnt turn off and no one answered. Email complain... no answer

United StatesThe address given was wrong. The receptionist at the apartment block on the address given directed me to the correct location. I am not the first person he has met looking for Sapphire. The electrical failed to the room lights and outlets around mid day. The manager was informed. After six hours the problem still was not resolved and I contacted bookings.com without any success. There is no way to file a complaint that gets any type of response. The power was still out when I checked out the next day. I never received any help form Sapphire or bookings.com. A complete failure. (Bathroom lights worked so I had to leave the door open for any light after dark)

United KingdomMy friend and I were let down massively by Sapphire hotel (Great Cumberland Place, W1H 7LD) on the day of arrival! We booked this accommodation 14/03 to accommodate Birthday celebrations in London. The hotel contacted us just last week asking us to confirm a check in time however after travelling all the way from Colchester we arrived and could not find the accommodation and after many phone calls was eventually told they had double booked us which left us stranded with our luggage on the side of the street and no where to stay!! The venue was very unhelpful in trying to sort it they accepted liability but told us to deal with booking.com who eventually sorted a replacement hotel that was 40 minutes away from where we were due to stay so not very helpful and obviously not an option for us. We had Birthday lunch booked and had to travel to the restaurant in Camden with luggage in tow unable to get changed and phone batteries dying and spent our whole time in the restaurant trying to sort alternative accommodation ourselves which was very stressful - day/time in London for Birthday celebrations completely ruined leaving us anxious, stressed and very upset!! This situation also cost us more than anticipated after being left last minute to sort alternative accommodation which was more money but we had no choice whatsoever thanks to Sapphire! Would not recommend this hotel at all, being let down on the day of arrival on the streets with no where to stay is not acceptable!! Expect some form of compensation for the upset and cost caused and ruining what would have been a lovely weekend booked/planned 6 weeks prior!!

United KingdomThe whole house. The pics you see on the advert is not the room you are given. You have to share a hallway with others who live in the property, they didn't seem to care about the noise, banging around they were doing.. my family and I were rudely woken by these Tennant's at 1am and the racket didn't stop until 4am. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

United Kingdom-Before arriving to the apartment the communication with the host was dreadful, even though I chose to overlook it at the time as I didn’t want any mishaps with the booking as it was mainly for my partner. -Better facilities -Curtains were dirty -Bedding was dirty and dusty -heating was constantly on and when trying to contact the host I had no luck. The room was so bad that we couldn’t even stand to stay the night and had to leave late evening as we had found a better alternative. All in all the pictures were very deceiving and wasn’t dealt professionally by the host. ( scribbled down a few words on a A4 piece of paper and asked me to sign)

IndiaFirstly it's not a hotel or service apartment kindof, it's a traditional house in which you will get a feeling of room sharing. Most of the things mentioned in booking confirmation is missing like I bought my own toiletries, kitchen basics like salt and oil too. There is a washing machine but even asking for detergent and soap staff was not answering. Even cleaning was also not regular, mostly I have done by myself to keep place higienic. I am really very disappointed when asked to keep some toilet paper but didn't got reply and I bought for myself from supermart. Please be careful and avoid to book this place. If you are looking for overnight stay than only can be considerable.
The only good thing about this property is its location. Apart from that nothing is acceptable.

United KingdomThis stay was horrendous- DO NOT STAY HERE. one resident at this property was arguing and smoking drugs all night. we ended up leaving the same night we checking in. there has been no accountability from the owners and they will not give us our money back. I text the owners on the night with no response. when I spoke to them the next day they were not very helpful and tried to blame us for not contacting them with the issue. As a severe asthmatic I struggled with my breathing due to the amount of smoke. Absolutely shocking customer service.
