The entrance lobby and common areas had an unappealing smell. Probably from cleaning products or air freshener, but I did not enjoy it. Reminded me of a hospital. The hotel is nice but a bit tired and looks ready for a refurb. Room was generally clean, but more attention needs to be paid to the details, such as grubby light switches and TV remote.

Great location by the marina. Within 10 mins walk of the city centre.

The bed clothes were a little light. The toilet was low. The shower was too low for someone of 6'4".

Location is excellent, my room had a view of the marina. It's an easy walk to nightlife on Wind Street which has many bars and eateries. The room was comfortable and well equipped and appeared to have been recently redecorated. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and all was elf service, poached eggs were poached fresh

Receptionist Janette was very helpful when my husband cut himself and we needed first aid. She promptly had the blood cleaned up while we were out.

Breakfast was poor value for money with very limited choices. Large car park but parking is charged as an extra.

Room was comfortable, with good bathroom, nice to have a bath. Bar area is pleasant, staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing location just off the beach and close to the marina.

The TV kept turning off I presume that there was a signal problem. We weren’t in enough to worry about it.

Breakfast cereals selection could be better. Would like the option to have breakfast at 6:30am at weekends. Would be useful to have two comfy chairs rather than just 1 and there is room

Staff were very courteous and attentive at all time. The location and parking was very handy. The room was very clean and well kept. I was able to get porridge which was appreciated.

Paying for parking after I'd spent over £200 on the room, in a hotel that was barely occupied and therefore where there was no pressure on room occupancy. The price was pure profiteering, not related to demand I won't be staying in a Marriot hotel any time soon- and I travel a lot. Please reflect this to the UK board of directors.

I did not like the taste of the art in the rooms. I used a linen bag to cover it while I was staying there. It was an abstract painting of a man with a weird thing over his eyes. Just not relaxing .

Food prices in restaurant a little expensive, but the quality of food was good.
