We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe bells! There is a church opposite and its bells ring every 15 minutes…. Even through the night.
Breakfast was good. Staff were lovely and helpful. I was very late but unable to find a number as I was driving. The lady rung me to see where I was. When I explained I was late. She waited for me. Which was a huge relief.

It's within close proximity to Uttoxeter train station, which makes it easy to get to without a car, and allows for convenient access to the Alton Towers shuttle bus. The staff were also very friendly.

United KingdomUpon booking in I filled in a form with personal details on which was given to the member of staff, who was juggling the bar and hotel reception. This form remained on the bar for at least an hour unattended as we went out for food and it was still there when we returned. The room we had while a very generous size was very cold when we got in there, a window had been left open. Also when the radiators were on this didn’t seem to warm the room up much. The bathroom was full of black mould which was disappointing to see. I think for the price of the room these things shouldn’t be present.
The hotel suited our needs on a trip to Alton Towers, it was nice that the hotel had a private car park. Linens all clean and amenities all plentiful.
