The first bed was uncomfortable but moved to another room and that bed was very comfortable.

The location was exceptional! Couldn't be better. Our room had a large balcony/patio with an outstanding view. The rooms were surprisingly quiet as soon as the windows were closed even though we were in an active and high traffic area.

The location is excellent, the rooms were clean. The breakfast was great, there isn't a huge a selection of food, but everything was fresh and delicious (e.g. boiled egg, cold cuts, pastries).

Hand rail not available on last part of climb to the roof so not suitable if you have mobility issues or height???

The view was lovely for morning cuppa & sunset with awning to shade the sun. Just like the photos. Location seeing the plaza from our balcony so easy to see what was happening amongst the locals.

Occasionally, you can hear your neighbours and acitivity in the halls quite well. During our last night, there was a very loud ventilator (?) sound coming from somewhere in the hotel. But if you travel with earplugs, it's ok. Overall, it was still one of the best stays I've had in a hotel :)

First, we were greeted by a very nice and polite man at the reception desk. He was our favorite, but the rest of the staff was also super nice. Our room was small and maybe not the most modern, but it had everything we needed. The balcony was also a great bonus. Considering the perfect location, you can stay at this hotel for a very reasonable price and I would definitely recommend staying there and stay there again myself.

The building itself is very old and doesn't seem to be built as a hotel, but I guess it is the case for most of the hotels in Plaka neighborhood. Despite the description, it has no heating. There was only an air conditioner, which you can switch to "heat" and it takes circa 30 minutes to make the room warm. I understand that you don't need heating for the most of year in Athens, but my girlfriend and I visited Athens in late January and it was pretty cold. The other crazy thing was the BED. Upon our arrival they didn't have a room with big bad so they gave us one with two small beds ... take a deep breath ... They have ROLLERS!!! Yes, they roll like hospital beds. Imagine to have sex on a small bad with rollers (!!!). You can't even simply keep them together to sleep like a couple. For fairness sake, they DID CHANGE the room after we asked, so we had to sleep separately for two days only.

First of all, the STAFF is fantastic! I mean it! The ladies are very nice and helpful, LOVE THEM, really no complains what so ever! The location is probably the best possible. If you visit Athens you should definitely take a hotel in Plaka neighborhood and this hotel is in the middle of it. From the airport you take bus X95 and it takes you about 600 meters to the hotel. The subway station "Acropoli" is also quite close. All the major interesting things including the Acropolis itself are at a walking distance. You can find several very nice cafes (I recommend "Souvlaki" near subway station Acropoli), some small (tiny) stores around and one relatively big market named "ΑΒ something..."

Cold showers in the morning. For some reason there wasn't enough hot water between 9.00 am and 10.00 am.

We loved the view from the terrace It was just out of the fairytail. The staff was super kind.

Tiny bathroom

The excellent location, the peaceful atmosphere despite being extremely close to the main attractions, means that weaknesses can be overcome. Wonderful service from the staff!

Lovely little 70s style hotel right in the heart of Plaka, near Acropolis and Syntagma. Clean, tidy, had everything I needed for an overnight stopover including a huge balcony space. Staff were very helpful and congenial, the owner kindly gave me a piece of seasonal vasilopita (cake) whilst I was waiting for my Uber (€44 to airport). I'd stay there again.
