Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere were some ants around the pool area which cant be prevented however they werent to bothersome where we sat most of the time, there isnt much shade around as we couldnt move the umberella round to where we were sitting and thats where we had ants so didnt use one side of the garden for first few days but again no fault of the property. the only issue i had was the positioning of our Villa as it sat next to the car park, reception and wasnt very private at times as we would have liked a little more privacy, and at night you can see through the blInds so didnt feel as comfortable sitting not that you have a lot of people walking past as it is high up in the mountains, but anyone going to their villa etc can see in, so maybe just adding some curtains for a bit of privacy, however the views made that worth it, i would still visit again and again ❤️
The views are stunning, watching the sunrise was amazing, the staff were all really friendly, some of the cleaners, couldnt speak english but took time to understand which was so helpful, Elani is an asset to the villas staff, and so welcoming gives a real insight into everything you need. The, pool was great, masionette villa was really nice throughout, kitchen had everything you need, great showers. The owner was also very friendly and the gardener works really hard to keep everything looking beautiful.

United KingdomThere were a few days where we didn’t have hot water in the morning, but again we addresses this with Elena and she got it sorted for us.
We stayed at Lofos Village with two other couples and all three villas were modern and looked fantastic. Elena gave everyone an incredibly warm welcome and couldn’t do enough for us over our time there. Even when the sky started raining orange sand and covered Crete, the owner himself came out to personally jet wash each villa and check we were all ok. Would really recommend Lofos village if you are after clean, modern and a super relaxed holiday.

CanadaI would highly recommend Lofos Village! The villa was beautiful! Tastefully decorated with lovely high vaulted ceilings, expectionally clean, private, and comfy! The pool was pristine and had a lovely view. We were greeted by a lovely woman (and a nice bottle of wine) who provided great recommendations and was just super sweet! Really felt like a little slice of luxury. Close enough to restaurants and such without being right in the thick of things (it's on a hill, so would be a bit of a trek on foot). It's worth noting that Google Maps sent us really wonky instructions. You will not be disappointed with your stay ✨️

United StatesThe first time we drove to the apartment GPS took us up a very steep hill, our car had a difficult time and it was really quite scary. Eleni told us a different route that was easier. Wish we had known that before we drove there.
The apartment was clean, modern, beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. The pool was amazing, warm water and beautiful view of the sea while we were swimming. Eleni and Antoni were amazing hosts, attending to everything we needed.

NetherlandsOne of the best stays on Crete, Lofos village provides beautiful and private villas that are just out of this world. We travelled with family (small child) and our dog. The place was perfect for us as it provided a private garden and a pool that we could enjoy. The villa we stayed it was very modern with all the facilities you need, the bbq on garden was an added plus that we used a lot. The pool has been kept very clean (cleaning every 3 days) and is perfect size to enjoy some time. The host (Eleni) was amazing, she is so full of energy and she provided us with all the needed information. She was always available for any requests we had (extra cleaning of the pool as wind put some leaves in). On site there is also shared laundry room that you can use. Location of Lofos village is really great, with 15min walk or 3min drive to the amazing sandy beach. It provides private parking with also electric vehicle charging plug.

United KingdomSet on the top of the hill which means amazing views, but hard to get to without a car. We managed with taxis, but would be good to have a small shop in the complex for essential items eg. water
Absolutely loved our stay - the apartment was immaculate and modern and the swimming pool was the perfect size. Views were incredible from the villa. Hosts were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and really made us feel at home!

FinlandIf something could be improved pool towels and some yogamats to borrow would be nice.
We had an amanzing stay. It was so nice that we decided to extend our stay there for three nights. The villa was exactly like in the pictures. The views were beautiful and it was a really calm place to relax. The villa felt like home, it had everything we needed. We defenitely recommend this place to stay. It’s located on a hill and it was an easy 15min walk from the main road. The host Elena was lovely and always attentive.

United KingdomLeaving!!
The hosts were just so friendly and easy to communicate with and so obviously proud of their villas. We just absolutley loved our accomodation and everything was done to make sure we were well set up, including changing our bedding and towels when we had gone out and being careful not to disturb our privacy for the pool maintenance

IrelandThe pool was quite cold as it was in the shade. Would be great if it was a little warmer for this time of year.
We had an amazing week staying at Lofos Village. The Villa was stunning. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Elena was a delight. She put a smile on our face every time we spoke to her. We will be back to Lofos in the future.

BelgiumBeing located on a hill, further away from the main road, it requires a car to comfortably reach the tourist attractions. Nevertheless, a long leisurely stroll is also feasible for reaching such destination.
This petite villa offered a charming haven of comfort. The hill top location creates a hovering sensation, granting a vantage point to bask in the splendid panorama of the sea and the valley below. The host, both gracious and engaging, ensured that my stay was accommodating. The small but surprisingly deep pool offered a nice retreat to unwind while enjoying the unfolding view. The two floor villa encapsulates within its compact space a comprehensive array of the amenities needed for a memorable vacation.

Great view which gathers the sky and sea and olive trees. Terrace was big and perfect equipped. The villa itself was more than big and fully equipped with all what we need. The team was 100% helpful and very very very kind. My family share this opinion with me. Special thanks to Elina , the kindest lady. We were blown away with this property and view, the location is perfect. You can have complete peace and quiet but be close enough to restaurants and bars a 20 minute walk away. Elena was so friendly and helpful, always on hand to help and give advice if needed. The place is kept spotless by the staff who can't do enough.
