Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

One of the airconditioners was not working very wel. No real breakfast. We have received a breakfast in a box. Stairs to go to the 5th floor. Quite difficult to get there with a luggage.
Clean. Apartment very spacious. Parking. Airport transfer.

The neighbourhood is indeed a bit weird, but we felt safe walking around both day and night.
They had a private parking lot, and the room was enough for a short stay.

We needed a hotel for 1 night in the neighbourhood of the busstation, this place was very convenient. The staff is the loviest staff we ever met, the girl at the reception is so kind! Beds and bathroom were okay, breakfast we (unfortunately) found horrible.

We chose it because it was near a Congress where we had to attend, but the nearabouts were not the most beautiful part of the city.
Nicole the receptionist assisted us in a lovely way, she helped us with each of our demands (which were not a few) and solved all of our worries effectively.

The reception wasn’t 24 hours. The shift ended at 10:30 and began in the morning. They left me with a phone number, it was ok.
Location was great, room was nice.

- small crumpled bathroom with no door to shower cabin - the kitchenette sink had a draining problem - room a bit small
- private secured parking - very kind receptionist - quiet neighbourhood, at a 30-35 minutes walk from Acropolis/ Monastiraki - nice balcony (although the view is not great) - very comfortable bed (huge) - air conditioning

I loved the security measures of the building, along with the comfort of the room. Moreover, I want to say a big thank you to the receptionist. She helped me retrieve my phone from a taxi driver.

There was only one bathroom for 5 people in our apartments. One of single beds had uncomfortable matress. But still nice place to stay when visiting Athens.
It's nice place near Akropol. There is a lot of good little restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff of the hotel is kind and caring. The AC in the apartament was working very good.

Nice and spacious apartment in Athens, with parking available. Although the neighborhoods were a little scary at the beginning, it was really safe and calm (we walked during the night with 2 kids, returning from the city center and everything was ok). Metro station within walking range, from where you could easily get to the important places in Athens.

I didn’t like the parking lot. It was in a construction zone and gravel. We found a nail on the gravel which if we had not seen and removed could have damaged our car tire. Also the parking lot was dark and sketchy. Not a place that a woman would like to park alone
The room was very clean and comfortable. Great king size bed. Very basic but great for a good night’s sleep

the bed was a bit lower than what I am used to but I adapted.
I like the polite nature of all the staff who were all kind, respectful, responsive and kind, I loved the lift, and door system, the shower units.

The area of hotel was in was quiet and not glamorous but the hotel security and friendly staff made up for it. It was a bit of a walk—a few kilometres—to the Plaka area but we didn’t mind.
We has a pleasant room with a big balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and modern feeling.

Everything was fine. I recommend visiting it when you will be traveling to Athens. Hotel It is located on some 20 min walks to the old city and acropolis hill. For us the parking spot was mandatory, so here you have it.
