Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe location was very convenient being attached to the shopping mall that links with Shatin MTR. My young children enjoyed the pool every day and the laundry room was handy. We had a very comfortable stay. Staff were courteous and helpful. Fast internet and room was cleaned every day.

The room we stayed in was newly refurbished and was very comfortable. It was clean and large by Hong Kong standards. The hotel is situated right next to the New Town Plaza shopping centre which was convenient, and allow easy access to food and shops. The closest MRT is within walking distance - approximately 10 minutes away.

Great location I.e train station linked with shopping mall and hotel. Access to gym and swimming pool albeit we never got the chance to use the swimming pool. My return flight was a late one and Royal Park allowed me to store my luggage at the hotel while I made the most of my last day in Hong Kong. They also very kindly allowed me to use the gym's shower facilities to freshen up before my flight home. Much needed considering the humidity in April.

Wish they would also provide free shower cap considering how cheap it is to provide. Also, gym and swim facilities would be nicer if it opens earlier in the morning.
Excellent location. Connects right to the mall. Close vicinity to the MTR Starion and Bus Terminal, providing easy access to the HK CBD. The mall itself is quite complete with plenty of food and shopping options.

United StatesThe only thing I did not like is the extra charge for breakfast. It costs HK$100/person/day, but we don't think it was worth it. Thoroughout our entire vacation including in Hk and China, all hotels included breakfast.
The facility has been remodeled so our room was bright, updated, and all furniture were almost new including beddings. The location was great as we had stayed there before. We chose this hotel mainly was for its location.

SingaporeThe restaurant in the lobby can be hit-and-miss. It is very expensive for what they offer and meals can take a good hour to arrive, even when it is quiet.
This hotel is near to the office and attached to several malls. It is close to the MTR, so the location is fantastic. It is clean, with comfortable rooms.
