Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A nice room with a private bathroom and a terrace with a view of the sea through the row of houses. Bacic couple is friendly and helpful.

I loved everything about the proprety. If I had to pick one tiny detail that wasn’t great, that would be the sea view. As proprety is in the street that’s second row from the sea, the view is trough small gap between two houses. Everything else was great!
The place is at great location, few minutes walk from everything you need (stores, bakery, restaurants). It was very clean and comfotrable. All you need in a small place for vacation. The host was very nice and plesant lady who will give or tell you everything you need.

Quiet place to stay, an appartment with a terrace and a small kitchen, close to the bus station right in the town centre. The hosts were very nice and friendly.

Affordable little apartment and very nice host! It has everything you need for a weekend. Just a short walk from the ferry and the bus to Korcula.

Very good, comfortable room with terrace and the lady who received us was very hospitable which prepared for us a tasty lemonade in the fridge. Very close to boat station and to the main street.

Loved the location and our wonderful hostess. Older home with apartments upstairs, very clean with all you need. Small kitchen, nice patio overlooking garden. Very close to all the action but on a quiet street a block away. Hostess doesn’t speak English but it was no problem communicating the basics. Would definitely stay again, excellent price.

The lights of the bedroom were a bit too strong (white lights) which turns out to be not so cozy. The accommodation was poorly signposted, we had to ask for info. The decoration is a bit old fashioned but we didnt really mind it.
It is located in the center of the town, close to basic necessities. The room has a super nice balcony. The host was nice even though doesn’t speak english (only croatian).

First of all it was declared wrong on the page of Booking. It’s not an apartment with independent access, as I understand the definition of an apartment. It was a modified room in their house on the first floor. The cleaning was poor. The linens didn’t have the appearance of being washed. Neither the towels smelled like freshly washed. In the kitchenette were dirty pots and the cutlery. The cutlery however wasn’t enough. The shower curtain seemed not have been changed or washed in a long time. The sewed bottom line of the curtain was full of stains and disgusting. It was full of stains. The hosts are an elderly couple. very lovely but they speak only Croatian and so it was difficult to ask for some information or to communicate with them about our arrival.
The hosts were very nice and helpful. When we left with the car they reserved for us the parking spot, so no one could park there and we had a guaranteed parking spot while coming back. There was a Schnapps, a cake and some water in the fridge. The terrace was great with a garden view.

Apartment is overpriced in comparison to what it's offering - had much nicer apartments in Croatian islands for similar money. Old interieur, not renovated. Few dishes, old kitchen, noisy fridge. No single/separate entrance. Poor noise isolation. Poor Wi-Fi! Owners don't speak English- difficult to communicate.
Nice balcony and terrace. Was allowed to check in earlier. Good location. Friendly owner. For one night it does the trick but wouldn't have stayed longer.
