Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There wasn't anything to not like
The hosts were amazing, the property was fabulous. My friend had an accident and Tanya the owners daughter arranged for her brother to take us to the local emergency centre. I would highly recommend the apartments. Thinking of going back next year with a group.

Nothing really. With such a large and well equipped apartment, it is suitable for longer stays, and has room for a washing machine - the absence of said w/m is my only "complaint".
The location was perfect for us - a 10minute flat walk from the port, overlooking the busy small boat marina which provided endless entertainment by way of small boat and taxi comings and goings, to the daily swimming lessons for the local elementary school children. 2 supermarkets nearby and easy walking distance to the buzz of Hvar town. The apartment and balcony wee both huge, well furnished and lit, with a gorgeous view of the marina and sunset. We couldn't ask for much more.

No lift and three flights of stairs up to apartment.
Good view of harbour in a quieter area 15 mins walk from ferry port with good value restaurants and bars nearby. Very obliging host.

Lovely clean apartment, plenty of room. Outside area, close to supermarkets and a short distance from town. Host was extremely welcoming and obliging perfect base to visit Hvar, close to town and walking distance to beaches. Excellent value for money.

All good
Nice large apartment, with a balcony having a Seaview. Wifi and AC were working fine. Very friendly and helpful owners. It is about 50-100 meter from two beaches. It is located a bit outside the center, which is great. There are a 4 bars and restaurants nearby, so more quiet than right in town. It takes just a short walk to get downtown to the busy nightlife. There are 2 grocery stores nearby, so easy to prepare your own food too.

The one bedroom apartment is on the second floor (no elevator)
The appartment is well located, not too far from the busy city center, and near to some beautiful beaches of Hvar. It has all the basic needs.

Some of the facilities are a bit worn off, but still functional enough.
The apartment is located a short walk from Hvar old town and harbour, but still easily accessible even with luggage and nicely further away from most party crowds. Several rocky beaches are nearby and seashore walks around the apartment offer great views. The apartment is spacious and has a lovely terrace, that on a windy day is a nice spot to cool down. Owners are lovely and it is a great feeling to step into their pretty lush garden.

Nothing really as it suited our needs perfectly but if we are being super picky the bedsheets were very small but if you like your feet sticking out the bottom you will be fine!
Exceeded expectations! Brilliant location, just a 10 minute walk round the port to the heart of Hvar Town. Few nice and reasonable bars just outside the apartment. Lots of little places to sunbathe on the rocks. Hosts were lovely! The day we left it was raining and they provided us with ponchos without us even asking. Room was basic but all you need! Clean, large room with a balcony. Private.

No view :( ......It was advertised like we had a room with the ocean view. Thats why we booked this place. Instead we had a room in the back with no views.

I have no complaints the only thing I would say is that there was no cleaning supplies or spatula which made our 4 days a bit tricky by the end.
really beautiful spot a bit out of the old town with a beautiful view and very warm helpful hosts. would stay here again!
