Many stairs… even stairs up to the reception, not suitable for people with mobility issues or who have difficulty bringing their bags up stairs. The food at the bar next door was not worth ordering, but good drinks.

Great view from the room, quieter town, right off the main road in Lumbarda. Cute pool, good breakfast in the morning. Some rooms have ac, some don’t.

Dinner could be better in terms of choices. Rooms in the Annex building are old.

Breakfast was very good, location was excellent - everything within a foot reach. The terrace was excellent - a dream come true, only the rooms on the first floor of he Annex building were looking at the wall. Wi-fi was superb in the facilities and around the facilities. All praises for the staff and their 24-hour service with a smile.

The service is a bit odd. It is not clear when or how cleaning will take place, so you should really inform about it or else don’t get your room cleaned. We stayed four nights and not one day of our stay, the rooms were cleaned. Also, the breakfast was not amazing. The restaurant had run out of food an hour before the ending of breakfast time and a lot of the food did not seem fresh at all.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Just in the centre of the small town. This makes it easy to reach all activities. Also, the room we had was big and we had a nice balcony with sea view.

Spent 2 nights here, we had no Air Con working (bookings app said they have air con), no hot water in the shower, shower would randomly stop working, rooms weren’t clean. Owners just argued and didn’t even try to help out. Just came up to check and made excuses. Gave us a fan that didn’t work. Paid $1800aud for our family complete rip off for a place that doesn’t have a elevator and 6 levels of stairs. Be prepared. I couldn’t get out of this place quicker enough! Owners really need to start spending some money into their hotel. I wish I read the reviews before booking.

It was so dirty in the room. They didn't even clean the rooms while we were outside somewhere. They brought us every day one role of toilet paper - what more do I need to say. We reserved the room with a sea view to which the owner said 'oh that's my room'. They charged us even more than the price was (were rude to us) but eventually returned our money. Parking is charged even though it said that the parking was FREE.

The personal was not friendly. Our accomodation was not ready although we arrived after 5 pm. The room did not made an impression that it was good cleaned and the bathroom need extensive renovation. Big black spots in the shower indicate on massive Pilz 🍄 contamination. When we left I told that the door to the balcony doesn't close properly and the answer was the guests don't use it properly.

The location was good accessible by car although a better instructions how to get to hotel parking on the hill behind would be helpful. The breakfast was variable and satisfactory.

Coffee

Lovely hotel, located in a brilliant place. Staff were very helpful, especially Dusko who went over and above his duties, to help us sort out the car rental, transfers, etc. Good breakfast, with a lot of choice. The only thing we didn't like was the coffee. The swimming pool was nice and convenient, with several beautiful beaches nearby.

- Rooms were not super clean (e.g. dust under the beds) - Mattress was very dirty, this would not be a big problem if they use normal bed sheets because that made it visible. - Shower was not always good with changing temperatures and shower head falling off. - Breakfast was nice but the cooling of the temperature where the cheeses and meats should be improved way more!!!

Hotel Borik is a perfect location in Lumbarda to enjoy the beautiful island Korcula. Would recommend to stay in Lumbarda while on the island of Korcula and get a scooter. Lumbarda is relaxing and have good restaurants. The swimming pool is so relaxing after a day trip of to start your day! Drinks were perfect with a small cocktail bar. Also nice terrace upstairs to sit in the evening! Reception was friendly and helpful. Balcony in room was enjoyable with the views over the island.

Rooms in the Annex building close to the reception are quite old and the ones on the first floor look at the wall.

Location is superb and the staff is extremely kind. It is very clean and breakfast is satisfying. Wi-fi is excellent in the whole area of the hotel.

Overall we were very disappointed in our stay. We had a room with three single beds and it can only be described as tiny and cramped, the mattress and pillows were old and very uncomfortable. The female receptionist was very unfriendly and was rude and patronising when we spoke to her, however all other members of staff were lovely. Our room was up eight flights of stairs and there was no lift so we had to carry our own suitcases the whole way up, no help or assistance was offered. Unfortunately for these reasons we would not return.

The location was amazing and the view from our balcony was breathtaking! The pool was also lovely and quiet :)
