Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing! Honestly can't think of a single suggestion to improve this hotel. Wonderful value for money.
Everything! This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location, perfectly positioned right on Sunset Beach promenade, near to all the local restaurants and a short (inexpensive) bus ride away from the Old Town. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the view from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was tasty with a range of hot and cold options served on the beautiful terrace. Rooms had everything you need - air conditioning, TV, WiFi, hairdryer, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, rooms cleaned daily. The staff at Villa Wolff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, they really went out of their way and were so kind. We were so sad to leave and will hopefully be back next year. THANK YOU!!!

United KingdomThe steps to the hotel were steep so a bit of an effort at the end of a long day but Croatia is full of steep steps so can't be helped!
The property is located at the top of around a steep staircase but the staff were exceptional and even carried our very heavy suitcase up and down on arrival and departure. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly and the view from the hotel balcony was tremendous. Would highly recommend for a stay in Sunset Beach!

UkraineThe stuff is 10 out of 10! The men are so nice, helpful and friendly, if you need anything they’ll be happy to help anytime. the beach is just 4 min walk, plus there are very beautiful hidden stones with access to water. the old town in 10 min by bus, costs 2 euros. breakfast is tasty, they cook eggs and there’s always yoghurt, pastries, jam, juice, coffee etc. You also able to use sun beds on the terrace and take beach towels with you. the room was clean, with everything you need.

ItalyWe loved everything. Maybe the 60 steps up to the hotel - but we got used to it by the end of our short break.
We loved the hotel because it was small and the lovely terrace where we ate our breakfast every morning and sat in the evening with a drink. Our room although small was pleasant and had everything we needed. The staff were absolutely wonderful, always welcoming and couldn’t do enough for their guests. They would stop and chat and made us feel really at home. The breakfast was ample with everything you needed and a menu for cooked breakfast which was cooked to order. Also the position of the hotel was perfect - right by the beach and the various restaurants and bars. Lapad is a fabulous spot especially if your looking for a relaxing holiday but also if you like walking and exploring and to top everything Dubrovnik centre is only a short bus ride away - number 6 bus runs every 10 minutes just a short distance from the hotel.

United KingdomLovely little hotel in a quiet and beautiful corner of the city of Dubrovnik. Good connections to the old city. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, quiet and had a lovely view. It was very nice having a separate room to the bed room to allow us to spread out and relax fully and the property has a lovely terrace overlooking Lapad Bay. There are 60 steps coming up to the hotel, but the views and welcome made them more than worthwile!

GermanyMy wife, 18 year old son and myself were in Hotel Villa Wollf for 4 days in 1st week of April 2023. The hotel is very nice, right on the Sunset Beach. We had the Junior suite to ourselves with two decent sized rooms with a view to the beutiful Adriatic sea. The cleanliness of the suite was impeccable. Breakfast was nice with all necessary choices. The staff of this hotel deserves special mention. They were all simply the most friendly, most accommodating and outstanding people i have ever met in any holiday. If i ever be back to Dubrovnik, i will always chose Villa Wollf over any other property. Thank you Villa Wollf for making our stay so memorable. regards Koushik

IrelandIt is necessary to climb about 50 steps to hotel. There is no hotel parking. Public street parking about 200m away costs about €18 a day (and there are limited spaces), and in the nearby parking garage almost €30 a day.

United KingdomMy wife and I recently had a fabulous stay at Hotel Villa Wolff. First of all, the location is perfect, right next to beach, easy access to sea via steps to the right of entrance along the promenade, and a 2 minute walk to the restaurants and bars to the left of the entrance along the promenade. We had one of the rooms without a balcony but it didn't matter as the terrace is so nice with amazing views. Breakfast was good and beach towels were provided. Finally, the staff are brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and professional.
