Jim and Margaret are very kind and helpful. We talked and laughed together. Breakfast was good with roasted bread, fruits, milk, coffee, tea, butter, jam, etc. Room were clean and comfortable. Bathroom big and clean too.

Everything was perfect

Our staying couldn’t be better!! 12 points out of 10! The house is gorgeous, our room was beautiful, like the castle chamber… Hosts are amazing kindest energetic couple with many helpful recommendations! Also the location was excellent, so quiet and close to the ocean, I really loved the short cliff walk which strarts just in from of the house.

A lack of pool table and any panda pictures in the bathroom spoilt it a little.....other than that.....faultless!!

Factor 50 sun cream was on offer during Storm Agnes which was a nice touch. Loved the banter and Jim and Margaret were charming informative hosts. Breakfast was continental but plentiful after a week elsewhere of Irish breakfasts. The whole place is immaculately clean.

Hosts Margaret and Jim were amazing. They made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. It was like a home away from home. You can tell their hearts and souls go into this business. The view from the room overlooked the beach and I could hear the sound of the waves as I rested. The guesthouse is beautiful overall, the room, dining room, patio area and location - couldn't be any better. I'll definitely be back to this gorgeous retreat.

Very nice room with beautiful sea-view 5 minutes from Clonakilty (nice town, house of Michael Collins, good choices for dinner, many pubs) Good continental breakfast Margaret and Jim welcome guests in their house with a huge hug of kindness and love, very proud of their family and what they do.

We had a great stay at the bethel guest house. Our rooms were lovely and Margaret and Jim took great care of us and were very helpful when it came to giving us tips for our trip. We felt very welcome and would recommend this accomodation.

Bethel Guesthouse was a beautiful home in a gorgeous location. Margaret and Jim were so lovely, we felt like part of the family. Their home was beautiful and the view from our room was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this property to others and will be returning when we are travelling again.
