Nothing really - a bit pricey, but that’s Dublin.

Very central and comfortable; I could nip back during the day. Very good breakfast.

Be aware that the rooms are quite tiny, no room to open a bag except putting it on the bed. But not a complaint as we knew that before we arrived.

The location was amazing. So close to everything. The breakfasts were excellent. A starter like fruit or yoghurt and granola plus a main. Full irish with black and white pudding was a hit. Salmon as well. Bed was very comfortable. Street is quiet and very close to Trinity college.

Lovely hotel, close to city centre, very clean and great breakfast. We were delighted with room upgrade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stored our luggage which we appreciated.

There is no bar in the hotel…it’s nice to get a coffee and sandwich after shopping and I tried to book this time next year at the same rate with the hotel ..but they could not facilitate this, so i unfortunately i booked another hotel for next year which is s pity ..

Fabulous location, beautiful facilities and good staff very professional and friendly…

Breakfasts were good, but I'd have liked a little more choice (eg Irish soda bread instead of white muffins for serving eggs).

Room facilities were good and cleanliness exceptional. Staff were very helpful, resolving a minor problem extremely quickly. Location excellent.

My room was on the back of the hotel, and I experienced some noise. Climbing three flights of stairs was somewhat problematic, especially with luggage. Next time I'll request a lower room.

Every staff person with whom I interacted acted as if I were a VIP. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the location was ideal.

Room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift - to be expected in an old property - so rooms on higher floors may not be ideal for someone with mobility challenges

Location was ideal, right in the center of the city - rooms were more than adequate for what we needed for an overnight stay and the breakfast was beautiful

    • Superior King Room
    • Stayed 6 nights

We booked a Superior King room for 6 nights, and first we were given a corner room that had a 45 degree angled wall that cut across the space. It was small and cramped; it definitely should NOT be sold as a Superior King. We were at first told there was no other Superior King available, but then we were given the option to move to room #112 which, out of desperation, we did. While room #112 was large, we were in the basement--one window that let in no light and that looked out onto concrete--and there was no decorative fireplace. It was definitely NOT like the photos on the website.

Excellent breakfast. Nice shower pressure and hot water. Prime location.

Nothing stands out as unlikeable ...the beautiful Georgian building meant that stairs had to be navigated, pulling unwieldy suitcases....but the wonderful staff were so helpful that this was never an issue Price of accommodation did seem high but this also seems to be a reflection of the increased costs generally in Dublin...

I had a lovely accessible room. Breakfasts were excellent, served by pleasant, helpful staff.... Location is fantastic - close to art galleries, museums, Trinity College, shops, Luas etc Staff were always professional, thoughtful and helpful...

Not really an issue but Reception did not open until 7am and our flight from the US got in very early so we had to wait on the street but only for 10min. They held all our bags and placed them in our room for us which was very helpful as there are a lot of stairs if you are not on the ground or first floor. Our room was available at noon, way before the usual check in, so we appreciated that.

Breakfast and location were great. Room was large and had nice amenities...coffee,tea, water, robes and books on Dublin. Bed was very comfortable and the whole place was extremely clean. The decor was very understated and relaxing. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return.
