Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NorwayGuests do depend on having a car because: 1. There is no infrastructure at the resort after 19h: No restaurants, no grosery shops near-by. 2. The closest bus stop is more than 2 Km away. Which is too much to be performed with luggage and small kids under the intense sun of the checkout time.
The staff was supportive.

Czech RepublicThis place is like an amusement park from the sixties..... lot of rubbish around, such as plastic bottles and coffee cups. A little investment would be needed to give the place its previous shine again. We were looking forward to jump into the pool (that is why I chose the place). However, there was no water at all... and the breakfast is extremely overpriced.
There was all we needed for one night stay. There is a fridge in a room, TV and you get towels. Not bad for a short stay.

FranceSome building details in the room. There was not separation betwin the toilet and the shower so it was always wet.
It was very close to the dead sea. It is practical to go back to your room to have a shower after the salty bath. It was also very quiet to relax.

IsraelIt was a wonderful holiday to our family. We were searching for simple expectations, we just wanted a nice time with our kids. So, it was a huge surprise when we arrived, how relaxing and welcoming was the village. The staff are nice and friendly. Since we booked, immediately they contact us through phone, finding out about our needs if there is anything unusual. At check-in a club car was took the package to the cabin. From the cabin to the dead sea it's 4 minutes walk, (also transportation is optional by club car with small payment). There is a swimming pool for adults, and most importantly there's a comfortable pool for the kids. The playroom for kids seems very good. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use all the facilities. We will definitely come again!! Great job.

IsraelThere was a dirty tampon applicator (not ours) I had to clean up from the bathroom and the shower drain was plugged with poopy wet toiletpaper and a used q-tip. Also, the toilet paper to use was locked in a box so you couldn't get it out. I told the staff the next morning (we were so tired we just slept the day before) and they never sent anyone to help with that. I ended up using my hand to clean out the shower drain so we could take our showers - yes, I washed it really well after. When I brought it up again to the staff they just shrugged and were like, yeah, I guess we forgot to send someone.
I asked the staff what time breakfast was at 8am and she said not yet. Later we checked back and found it had been open from 8-11. So we didn't have it. But the dinner and lunch were good (same restaurant).

MoldovaNo electricity one out of two days, which means surviving at 40 C without air conditioning, fridge, light and other facilities, there are no generators for such cases. The beach is dirty and uncleaned, lots of people in the weekends which leave everithyng dirty after them. Far from the civilized hotels area.
The staff reacted promtly to our requests. Quality of watter in the dead sea.

South AfricaWe enjoyed a hearty breakfast, but the options were a little limited - I think it is because the resort had low occupancy at the stage we stayed there. Some areas need a little maintenance, but that is because visitors have broken some of the facilities. As the resort is next to the corrosive Dead Sea, it must be difficult to maintain metal. We did see maintenance happening. None of the above would stop us from visiting Biankini Village again - we enjoyed our stay.
The village is unique in its decor. It has stunning views over the Dead Sea and its own private beach where you can enjoy floating in the Dead Sea and putting the grey mud all over your body for a special treatment. We had our bungalow upgraded to a Sultan suite and what a special treat that was!!! It is divine!

IsraelHello people Biankini Village Resort/Booking: First and last time I visit this place. Terrible looking host manager/owner at the check in table. We paid for a double bed room, and got two single beds in one,,,, terrible for sleeping, etc. No body soup in the room. Awful room service. No restaurant/food service at the entry day. No Hebrew/English speaker in the restaurant's staff. I cannot understand how Booking includes this kind of places for vacationing people.

BrazilWe called the hotel to let them know we would arrive around 21pm. When we finally managed to get there, (their address was wrong in Google maps And they didn’t answer our questions regarding the best way to get there), they didn’t want to give us our room despite having a reservation with booking!! I will officially complain to booking as I dont understand how they even offer this acomodación as they didn’t want to give us our booked room, and then they tried to charge 900 instead of 599. Room was filthy, we didn’t even dare to use the bathroom. Very bad breakfast. Staff was i polite, unhelpful, and tried to steal us.

United StatesVery strange outside decor. Odd mix of statues, horses, camels, lots of elephants even a dinosaur(!). The restaurant was never open during our stay. The room seemed to be equipped with an 'on-demand' water heating system but we never got it to work. Our room was a long way from reception and even longer from the parking area. The Wi-Fi seemed to drift in and out and was never very good.
The location was good, right on the shrinking shores of the Dead Sea and close to the Jordan River where our main activities were. The room was adequate and clean enough. The reception was adequate.
