Wonderful surroundings that felt like a very good representation of southern Iceland. Pure, beautiful Iceland :) Nice breakfast and a calm cozy vibe overall. Took us about 2-3 hours to drive to Jökulsárlòn at the biggest glacier Vatnajökull and Diamond Beach from the hotel, beautiful drive as well.

Friendly staff, peace and quiet - oh and did I say an awesome aurora borealis sighting right from the backyard? The hot breakfast buffet was very good compared to what we experienced earlier in the vicinity. Bottomline, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic, remote location. You’ll need a car to get here but it’s quiet and conveniently located next to the ring road. Hella and Vik are a short drive away. Both have stores where you can stock up on food and fuel. The property itself is comprised of an older main building where the restaurant, breakfast room and bedrooms are. However, there are two modern blocks opposite that house the apartments. The property has two hot tubs (not jacuzzi’s) which are clean and perfected heated. They are fantastic for stargazing! They kindly upgraded me to an apartment as it was my birthday. The apartment was perfect! Very clean, modern design and had an adequately stocked kitchen. There’s also a TV where you can watch Netflix, etc and an amazing shower!

Excellent dinner, great breakfast. Water boiler in the room was nice for that cup of tea at night. Excellent location to see the northern lights. A short drive to the 2nd highest falls of Iceland, which are lit up at night.

Nice place to stay between Reykjavík and the Glacier Lagoon. Not many options around for food. There’s a nice hike to a waterfall right from the hotel.

Room was a little cool for me electric heater cranked was struggling The hot tub advertised wasn't working.. apparently... If its advertised and you go there because of certain facilities which can't be provided then there should be some compensation.

Staff very friendly and helpful.. Food and service was really good... Blerib was great for check in and waitering Natalia looked after us really well for breakfast and was good for a chat too. Breakfast excellent Location good

We have been tranfered to Skogafoss Hotel because of an overbooking due to a system fall. Our stay was beyond expectations. the hotel feel quite sorry for it and we appreciate very much their kind gesture. The room was great, so was the lamb soup at the restaurant and the breakfast.

Loved relaxing in the outdoor geothermal hot tubs at night. Also loved the breakfast provided with our room rate -- delicious, and good coffee to accompany! Staff were all super nice, and room was quite comfortable. Would definitely recommend Hotel Anna!
