A stylish welcoming Italian hotel set within the outstandingly beautiful Tuscan countryside. The accommodation met all expectations both inside and outside where a relaxing pool area could be found to the rear of the property. The restaurant terrace located to the side of the hotel overlooked a beautiful landscape from which stunning sunsets could be enjoyed.

The staff was slightly rude. We had a receptionist tell us that it was “our problem” that we did not have cash to tip when we were just asking if there was a facility near by to draw cash. There was no one at the pool bar and we had to keep going inside to call for service… dinner service was great! But the rest could be improved.

The aesthetics of the property is lovely! What a beautiful place. Everything was clean and comfortable. The massages were INCREDIBLE!!

Stunning location, far away from other buildings and people, set on a hill, overlooking a beautiful Tuscan landscape. Stunning historic building. Very nice, individually designed rooms. Only a few guests. Very relaxed atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Very lovely restaurant setting with amazing food. Good parking.

Some rooms are a bit outdated. We had a very large room but the bathroom was quite old and we had to ask the staff to fix a couple of things.

Beautiful location: you can enjoy peace and quiet and easily reach Siena by car.

We didn't have breakfast, but did have the coffee, and it wasn't very good. Didn't feel like this was a 4 star hotel and the value for the money wasn't there. It was a pleasant stay, just felt it was over priced. Wasn't much to do there. We better experiences in other places in Tuscany.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. A nice view of the rolling hills from the outdoor sitting area.

Take care when entering pool. Has several slopes rather than steps

I've already left a positive review but there were a couple of things to add. Breakfast was excellent Don't bother with booking the best rooms unless that's your thing. You won't want to spend time in it.

There were small bugs falling out of the ceiling randomly (maybe out of the wood?). But really clean otherwise. The "spa area" could use some improvement.

Amazingly beautiful location, good food both at the restaurant & breakfast. The hotel looks authentic & offers you a beautiful Tuscan experience. It's a unique experience I would definitely recommend. Amazing sunsets & landscape.

There was no air conditioner as advertised and it was a bit warm.

It felt a little early in the season and like some of the facilities weren’t really open properly. But it wouldn’t put us off staying again.

The hotel is off the beaten track. It was so peaceful. The views are spectacular. The room was very nice. Good linens. The fridge and waters were much appreciated. The restaurant was good. Beautiful historic buildings.

The location is fantastic for a quiet relaxing time with lovely panorama, and easy access to Sienna. I read other reviews before I arrived, and they mentioned how friendly and helpful the staff are, and this is so true. Given we only had a couple of days to explore, Roxana was so helpful and knowledgeable, giving us excellent advice on how to maximize our time, thank you! The restaurant has a lovely ambience and would be even better in the summer being able to eat outside overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

The weather!! We were unlucky as it rained most of the time we were there!

The fabulous big bedroom and giant bed!! I also liked the restaurant, although the cuisine was touching the avant-garde.

We did not experience the restaurant as the operating hours were very limited. Just 90 minutes a day. Would have given it a try if it had been an option to eat outside on the patio but the weather was a bit cool.

Staff was extremely kind/attentive. Location was quiet/secluded. Breakfast was excellent as were the attendants. Staff even prepared coffee and pastries to go for our departure early on our check out day.

We only stayed one night

The hotel is in a restored historical building in a pastoral area with amazing views, the rooms we received were well equipped even though the floor was made of stone, it was heated and growling .outside it was raining and it was cold and the rooms were warm and pleasant, the beds were wide and comfortable some would say too soft, the bathroom was well equipped and warm. The breakfast was delicious and rich, if there were more vegetables in the it could be perfect in my opinion.we also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, a delicious meal.

The location is stunning, the views are breathtaking. The pool was so refreshing and they had an option to message foe bar food and snacks which was helpful. We had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. The food/wine was outstanding along with good service. We drove and there was plenty of parking. Good location to go and explore the local areas
