Location close to the beach. Room was spotless, great shower and lovely breakfast. Fast Wi-Fi and good air con. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All round great hotel.

From my perspective, everything was fine.

The Tirrenia is a solid 3-star hotel that provides a location literally meters from the beaches and seaside promenade, but still allows for a quiet sleep environment. My room was large (by European standards), clean, with very good shower/toilet facilities. The bed was firm (great for personal back issues), although some might not find it quite as comfortable. Breakfast provided a variety of options to start your day off right. The staff was superb, friendly, welcoming, and certainly very helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in Viareggio and highly recommend the hotel.

A little bit noisy.

Excellent place. The owner and staff were super friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. The room was way better than I expected, especially the bathroom. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was awesome and it was open for a fair amount of time. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place at an affordable price.

We weren't aware beforehand but you have to pay to go onto the beach, €20 per day for chairs and an umbrella. You do get discount through the hotel of 10% which helps.

Very good breakfast, plenty of choice of fruit/pastries. Great location for the beach, only a 2-3 minute walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We had the attic room and the ceiling was pretty low - we hit our heads multiple times. But it was okay because we booked this type of the room :) Also, I wish there were vegetables at breakfast.

Overall, the hotel met all my standards, however due to the structure of our shower and its partition, the bathroom floor was often prone to flooding.

Hotel Tirrenia is a lovely and comfortable hotel which is located very closely to the beaches. The hotel also offers discounts for accessing the private beaches. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and also provided towels for the beach. The bedrooms are clean and are equipped with perfectly functioning wifi and air conditioning. The breakfasts exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of both hot and cold food and beverages.

Watch which room type you reserve. The cheaper room price is for the 2 or 3 rooms on the 4th floor, which have the angle of the roof protruding into the room, which cuts down on head-space. It took a little getting used to, but it was not a show stopper. We decided to save the extra money by staying in that room versus paying more for a room on another floor.

The location was excellent in that it is close to the main promenade and shopping in town and in reasonable driving distance to other towns/cities we wanted to visit. It was a great "base camp" for other day trips. The included breakfast was very good with a wonderful selection of food items to choose from and the staff was always cheery and helpful.

They only had shampoo. Luckily I didn't have to go buy conditioner and body lotion, because I had kept some from my previous hotel.

The breakfast staff were very attentive and was of great value (price/location). There was no stocked mini-bar, but you could order stuff at the desk (beer, wine, soda, etc.) - I wish they had informed us, though. There were days when we ran out just to get a coke zero and a bottle of beer or water because there was nothing in the room or brochure where they indicated they had anything available past breakfast. The room though small but had all the essentials and was very clean. Rooms were cleaned every day, stocked everydayt.

Room was small but adequate. The main problem being the size of the shower which I found difficult to move around in and I am not a big bloke (5ft 10" and 14 stone). This was really just a small inconvenience to a very nice stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was of a high standard with a good choice of food. The Hotel is in a good location and provides a discount on a nice, well maintained beach nearby.
