Everything about this location was splendid. A great venue, great views, in a great city. So much more accessible than Tokyo, and the staff at the hotel were quite nice.

Breakfast very good - gym small and no spa or pool. Staff very nice. No shuttle bus was disappointing for a hotel of your of your quality and the prices your charge.

The carpet of the room and the dining area are not the best. I was probably allegic to the dust of the carpet.

The location and the atmosphere of the hotel speak for its historical significance. It has kept timeless charm with modern twist services. I enjoy the nightwear provided by the hotel. It was comfortable and soft. I bought two sets of nightwear as my souvenirs from The Orient. I am sure I would cherish it for a long time.

The Orient completely exceeded my expectations. It was so clean, quiet, and luxurious. The staff was so kind and helpful, and went above and beyond the service I have received at any hotel anywhere. The room provided so many complimentary toiletries and amenities. The food at the hotel restaurant is amazing (the french toast is heavenly!). I wish I had stayed longer! If I ever return to Japan, I am definitely staying here again.

We were very disappointed in the breakfast The usual level 17 room was not available so the ambience was sorely lacking. The variety of options didn’t seem up to normal standards and the meal I ordered crab and eggs benedict was flavourless and soggy. At 110,000 yen this felt not good value. We are not inclined to return after this experience.

We love the rooms at the Orient. The beds are so comfortable and the linen and doonas are soft and plush. We love the deep bath and skin care products. Everything is high quality

Just some items need refreshing in the room...bathrooms are in good condition but not really modern style. Very limited TV channel options for non-Japanese speaking guests. Overall. very little to complain about !

Wonderful location where you can walk to stations, restaurants and shops in the Kobe city area. Hotel facility was a little older grand style but in good condition with that smaller intimate feel that you don't get a very large hotel. Room was spacious and very clean and Japanese style bath/ shower room was excellent. Staff were very very attentive and helpful....so, overall stay here was very pleasant. We will stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. Big rooms and tastefully decorated. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were amazing too. Love this place, exceeded expectation. Location is not bad, it’s on the side of Daimaru, higher end shops, the main shopping area is about 5-10 mins walk away so easy.
