Firstly, the staff. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room had a nice garden view with limited views of the mountains. It was well appointed and comfortable and had a very large bathroom. Breakfast was a set menu and plentiful. The fruit selection was amazing.

Our hosts were charming.Close to shops and restaurants.Fabulous views. Our hosts welcomed us with roti style pancakes with bananas. The breakfast was very good .

Overpriced for the room size and facilities, but that's likely due to the generally inflated prices in Ella. Room had a slight moldy smell when we checked in, likely due to an unmaintained A/C unit. We've let them know and hope they will clean it and solve the problem.

Amazing Ella Rock view from the room! Air condioned room. Great rich breakfast. Staff was super warm & friendly. Even made us 1 lunch as a courtesy at no extra cost. Good location - generally quiet outside the super busy town center, yet still within 5 minute walk from the town's main street.

Not as clean as it should be: hairs on the floor and on the sheet. Towels could be washed better. Not really worth the expense, you pay for the view

-Carrying luggage from the parking is quite difficult but the staffs do help you out.

- The two ladies who cooks and serves breakfast were absolutely lovely. All the staffs very cordial and friendly. -We loved the breakfast and overall service. -The location is great both in terms of views and convenience.

Price for room a little expensive. Comparing to other hotels we've stayed we felt this is £90 per night room not $265

Staff were incredibly nice, and they served us nice dinner for free. Facilities were good. View from hotel is majestic!

The staff at the property were so lovely and accommodating, the room itself was spacious and clean with a lovely view of Ella rock. Also really conveniently located, a short walk from the centre of Ella and all restaurants.

Nothing it was great. Some might struggle with the steps but we found it not to be a problem at all.

Location is perfect just a few minutes walk to Ella town. The staff were wonderful even carried our heavy bags for us up the steps. The owner took lots of time to speak with us and recommend things to do that you wouldn’t find online so we had some amazing experiences because of this. Tea & pancakes upon check in with a room upgrade which was so kind. We had a delicious Thai meal cooked for us, it was amazing! Such a homely feel whilst operating like a hotel. They can’t do enough for you. We had a great Tuk Tuk driver the hotel organised for us he took us to amazing places & took good photos for us too! The view is amazing. Breakfast overlooking the beauty was super nice.

The cleaning of the room could be improved but it is still acceptable.

We have loved the location and views that the hotel offers. Also the personal is very warm and nice, and they gives you the feeling to be in a familiar environment. the rooms are pretty good; wide and luminous. Also the bathroom is wide and comfortable.

Difficult Access to the Hotel even with a small van. Luggage has to be carried across several stairs and along narrow paths.

There are quite a few steps up to the hotel so hard work bringing the cases up. At night they are not well lit so a little treacherous - a little more lighting would solve this. Our room was a little dated, although comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from town so perfectly located for getting into town for the bars and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious - no cold buffets here as so common in hotels, fresh fruits, eggs to order, pancakes etc. The beds were VERY comfortable.

There were quite a bit of ants but that is very common in Sri Lanka, just have that in mind.

There were quite a few mosquitos, but it's everywhere in Sri Lanka.

The place was very cosy, and the host immediately made us feel at home. They welcomed us with a tea and a pancake that was superb. The food in general was great, and Vasinti the house manager was extremely kind and mother-like; always asked us if we needed anything, and she even made us sandwiches when we left. The owner is a wonderful gentleman, funny and always has something to say. The property is at an excellent location, close to everything. The staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the overall experience was great and I really recommend it.
