Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower door was missing. Shower faucet was hanging on the floor and would not attach to the holder. The door would not dead-bolt (lock).
Comfortable beds. Rooms were spacious.

I asked for a non smoking room, but it still did smell a lot like cigarettes. When I opened the balcony door than I almost could not close it, as it was hanging from the hinge. And the door of the wardrobe fall down once when i was simply passing it.
The location is central, it was very important for us. The breakfast was good and enough. This time I had no problem with the cleaningness.

Facilities are a bit dated. Can tell the history of the hotel. Just one thing to correct from the description of the hotel, the bus station is 20 minutes’ walk from the hotel, definitely not 500 meters.
It’s 10 minutes’ walk to the colorful mosque. Staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of eateries nearby. Breakfast is quite good. Very spacious room.

Lady receptionist not friendly. No smile .when I got back was knocking the window. She did niot even care .to look who was knocking the door. I thought was lock .

A great location in the centre of town and within a few minutes' walk of the historical sights. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

No hotel parking and complicated public parking system. Great potential for good breakfast spoilt by the fact that all was cold (including dishes tasting good once hot).

Very central location, overlooking Tetovo's main square. A business class hotel, nothing to rave about but efficient and comfortable. Quite big room. Good breakfast served in hotel restaurant with a nice balcony overlooking the square. Parking behind the building - somewhat tight but free which is a bonus at such central location.

Everything was great except when you opened your door to the corridor it stunk of stale smoke. The breakfast area was the same with people smoking non stop. Hard to enjoy eating breakfast when we don't choose to smoke but don't have a choice . Disgusting

Last time we visited, we had individually cooked breakfast because it was during Covid, now there was a buffet, which was nice in theory, but not great in practice. Nothing really fresh with still 1.5 hours remaining of breakfast time.
Back for our second visit, and we got a room upgrade through our booking, which was nice. And extra sitting area and a good bed, with extra help from the staff with extra pillows.

My room was smelling of cigarette and noisy. I put on the door the sign do not disturb as I didn't want cleaning, but the personel went in anyway and did my bed and so on. It's not a terrible thing, but I like my privacy and did not want them to enter.
The location and access was good. Communication went easy.

Rooms could be a little bit more cleaner, soaps, shampoos & Q-tips should be daily renewed, and there were some problems with functioning the TV signal to work properly and broadcast programs.
In the heart of the city, with nice rooms and a beautiful view of the central square and the mountains surrounding the city, with steady wi-fi network, that is legit for working/studying and nice breakfast. The people in the reception are polite and ready to help you with your stay.
