Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It would be great if there were a disposable slipper.
We were very pleased that hotel has a parking lot, walking distance to the lake and the centre, and being a clean and hospitable hotel. We would like to thank the hotel owner and his son for their interest.

Everything was good, the room was big and comfortable, the toilet was clean, and the host is very kind. On top of it, you have a free parking next to the villa. Great value for money, would go back :)

It is not close to bus station. The taxi should cost no more than 150-200 MKD Dear traveler be carefull not all taxi drivers are honest in Ochrid. I do not recomend to use Mercedes taxi company. Suzuki taxi is ok
Pension has a very good location a couple of meters from Ochrid lake. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The supermarket ATM machine and good local restaurant Orfej is also very close in walking distance. The place is very clean and provide everyday cleaning

The location of the villa is very close to the lake. It's possible to reach the lake, restaurants, and market within a 2-minute walk. the villa is extremely comfortable and has air conditioning. The bathroom is clean. Additionally, the owners are very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for Ohrid. We needed to check out a day early, and they showed understanding without charging extra. It was a perfect hotel in every way. If I were to go to Ohrid again, I would definitely stay here again.Thank you for everything lupço

Pillows could be more comfortable.

The lights in the room were white, which is not as comforting as yellow. Lambs with yellow light have a more comforting effect on human psyche.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and quiet. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. All in all it was a satisfying experience.

Extraordinary hosts! Very kind and helpful, ready to help you at any moment. The villa is located in a great place, a few minutes from the lake. The rooms are good size, everything's very clean, and the bonus is the balcony. The hosts are always in the house, ready to help with the parking (you can park right in front of the apartment, on the street). Right next to the villa is a little store. You can visit all the sights on foot. While you're in Ohrid, don't miss a delicious meal at the Viva Ksantika restaurant.

The place was really clean and easy to find. Communicating with the owner also went really smoothly. For some reason I forgot my passport at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to get it back to me and were incredibly helpful overall. Could not recommend a better place to stay at if you are in Ohrid.

The location. Very close to lake, marina and the very animated area but in a quiet area. You will find restaurants very close, on the lake or you can take o 10 min walk in old Ohrid, using lake promenada. Nice hosts, nice family. Ok parking and, is important in Ohrid! Good breakfast. Good value for the money!
