The pillows and mattress were horrendous and the breakfast tables were always missing half of the cutlery

Safe battery housing secured with a plaster so didn’t want to risk using it On check in advised had room upgrade which included complimentary breakfast but was still charged on check out The bill on check out had additional 36 euros added which was apparently and error so had to be removed The water didn’t took a very long time to drain away

Breakfast was fabulous so much choice and even Prosecco if your partial in the morning The breakfast staff couldn’t do enough for us, Mahoon and Marisa were so friendly and full of top tips on places to visit and the best way to get there. We had so much for breakfast we weren’t hungry until dinner time! Not far from bus stop that you can get a bus to silema and Valletta

They closed the bar and snack area for a letting during our stay. No-one told us ahead so we could have made alternative arrangements for dinner. Very annoying. Pricey food

Not sure it's really a 5*. More a 3*+ Had to leave a note for our maid to replace drink items we used as wasn't done otherwise. Robes were very hard. Jacuzzi was cold. Also saw a cockroach in it. A saw a bottle under a piece of furniture in our room that was obviously there before we arrived. Was still there when I left. Yes, I could have moved it, but I wondered how long it would take for the cleaner to find it.

We went out of season..quiet location but not too far to walk to the centre. We're told we had a room upgrade but the description of our room seemed to be what we got, so not sure what the upgrade was. Welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. Slippers and robes in room. Spa was lovely, enjoyed a nice massage. Jacuzzi was cold but indoor pool was nice. Bar was lovely, reasonably priced.

The only recommendation is to invest in more EU or UK plug sockets in the room in order to be able to charge electronics.

Perfect hotel for family. In our family we have 2 persons that have food allergies and we found the breakfast staff very helpful, especially Marisa, Jerico and the chef Sejif. They catered for both gluten and diary free food during our stay. The bar area and indoor pool are well kept.

Opportunities 1. Room was dated and had no USB ports. 2. Breakfast....OK but small amount of British bacon served early and went quickly. Then only streaky bacon served. Not enough staff versus customers at busy times at Breakfast. No granola. 3. Lots of noisy people as part of a large Indian family there for a wedding. The hotel talked to them and did eventually get them to move, which was appreciated. 4. Tennis court...lovely to have this but having to pay was annoying and finding the balls was difficult. The balls weren't very good. 5. Gym was small and not very good. It didn't have mats for me to do my pilates or individual 3kg and 5kg weights for me to do my workouts. Equipment choice very poor for 5 star hotel. No classes to join either.

We liked the location, the bars and the amazing room we had paid to upgrade to with a Jacuzzi on the roof. Man at leisure desk helped us organise a private lovely boat trip in a big yacht with a Skipper. Sweets in reception were lovely. We ate at the outside lunch restaurant...very nice. Entertainment at the hotel was OK to good.

We booked two rooms for 4 days. There was humidity and odor in the room that we were given firstly. Some of the reception employees were unable to provide a solution to our problem (special thanks to Phallon at the reception for resolving this unpleasant situation). We were disappointed also to find that the second room we booked had not been cleaned for two days.

The first family room we got wasn't so great. There was no hot water or much water pressure in the sink tap or shower. Then we discovered the toilet flush didn't fill up fast enough. After getting the management involved, she managed to get us a better room the next day. So the rest of the stay was a lot better. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool outdoors was cold. The indoor one was good. The sauna doesn't get very hot. There's also another outdoor swimming pool which has more sunlight so that water was a. It warmer, however it was very salty for some reason.

Internal Laundry facilities. After a long trip and 5 nights in Malta it would have been good to wash & dry some clothes. Shuttle service to town would have been icing on the cake
