There is no tv but there’s so much to do in San Miguel, who needs tv?

This is a huge authentic Mexican apartment with loads of atmosphere. The king size bed was wonderful, the huge kitchen had a gigantic table. This place is a gem. To add to that there are 2 large terraces where you can get the amazing views overlooking the magic town of San Miguel. The restaurant downstairs is well run and delicious. The main square is only an 8 minute walk.

The kitchenette is only a sink and a fridge, would be good to have a microwave or electric stove top added, and cutlery and plates etc. It was pretty hot at night but being in the incredible historic space made it worth it for me. There is a fan but maybe an extra fan would have helped. SMA isn't usually very hot though so don't let this put you off!! The design of the space and the location outweighed any negatives.

The location couldn't be better, it's 5 minute walk to the main church but you're well among the center of town AND ubers or taxis can still drop you to your door. I would not want to be booked too close to the centre and have the wheel my bag over those cobbles. The bed was very large and very comfortable. My favourite part was the roof top terrace which was one of the best in SMA with views over the cathedral and the whole city. We spent many hours sunbathing and reading our books up there. I just wish there was a table or some loungers up there. The room is also very spacious and incredible historic architecture. The designer has done a great job at keeping historic features and not adding any random modern features to ruin the illusion. The café below is a real vibe with live music and dancing (only until 9pm). Good wifi. Keep in mind only stair access at the site. Staff at the Cafe were friendly and helpful. Perfect place for staying in San Miguel a couple of days if you're looking for an energetic vibe and unbeatable location.

Rough around the edges. Needs maintenance. Tried to check in at 3, but had to wait 2 more hours for room cleaning. Also awkward to pay in cash when owner is not on site.

    Lots of space and character
