Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI won't say that I didn't like this - but it should be mentioned for those who are temperamental about being woken up by church bells right outside your window. I mean, it was as if the bell was hung right outside my window. But the year before I stayed on the opposite side of the hotel and never noticed the bells. But on that side the music from the bar across the street and the troubadours on the street under the balcony went on until 11 p.m. Choose your room accordingly. Just ask when booking. However, with everything this hotel offers and the value, this is no fault of the hotel and minor in my book
They do not serve breakfast at this hotel. But you are mere steps away from a really great coffee bar and only five minutes to plenty of restaurants. They do provide you with a Nespresso type single serve coffee machine, bottled water in your room.

CanadaThe room had minimal furnishings. Additional shelf or a bureau would have been helpful.
Well located, within easy walking distance of all the principal sights of the Historical Centre. Helpful staff at the front desk when asked about recommendations for restaurants, arranging tours etc. Great view. When a problem arose with billing for the room (my credit cars was charged twice), the issue was resolved quickly and easily, with many apologies from the management.

United States of AmericaI was happy with the property itself and the staff but I thought it was too expensive for the room.
Good location a block from El Alondiga and the Mercado Hidalgo. The room was clean — very sparse, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice views from the terrace.

United States of AmericaIf it wasn’t for me calling about the parking I would probably be lost, however if there were to be signs pointing towards hotel and parking a few meters before the hotel that would help people find it without missing it the first time.
Location, food restaurants and attractions near by.

CanadaWifi was not working in the room but we were given access to another wifi. Our friends were staying in a second room which had no hot water. This problem was not fixed while we were there.
Location. This site has included parking. The front desk staff, Moses helped us find parking for our massive truck which would not fit through the entrance to the parking. Our truck was 8’1” wide and not a regular truck, but most cars and trucks would fit. Anyway Moses took extraordinary steps to make sure it was parked safely and spent several hours accommodating us. Thanks Moses!

CanadaThere is a bar nearby and it had loud music late evening. The hotel is very close to a church and you can hear the bells for the hours and the mass.
The location is great, right at the west end of downtown. Every landmark is walking distance (restaurants too). The room was gorgeuous and had an excellent view. The hotel is also very nice. I felt totally secure there.

There was no breakfast served. It would be nice for the price you pay per room. This was the only hotel that did not offer breakfast on our 3-week trip staying at 4 other properties.

United States of AmericaWe could hear some nighttime music that ended before 11pm or 12am, to be expected on a Friday and Saturday night in as tourist-focused a part of the city as this. With windows that close and wood shutters behind that, it was manageable- bring ear plugs if you're sensitive.
This hotel is in a beautiful, soulful building in the perfect location. Onsite parking was a plus, but a bit tight on the corners- the staff are happy to help spot you into the spaces if needed. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, with some nice extra amenities like coffee pods in the room, in case you can't quite make it the two doors down to the cafe next door. This location was fantastic- very slightly tucked away from the busiest parts of the historic center, but an easy, if sometimes hilly, walk to great food, historic sights, and the hustle and bustle of el centro.

Everything. The shower was gigantic and beautiful, you could relax and look out onto the beautiful view that is Guanajuato. The rooms and the hotel was superbly decorated. The staff was so helpful, the manager Ricardo could not have been more accommodating. Our flight was canceled going into leon and we had to be rerouted into aguacalinetes 2 hours north. He helped arrange our driver to still come get us. Amazing. Amazing Amazing Amazing What a value and what a beautiful establishment.
