Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaRooftop patio with pool wasn’t available due to maintenance. They need to renovate more than just a section of the wooden deck. Chairs/loungers were thrown about and old. Could be really nice and relaxing hangout area, but needs work. Breakfast was average.
Super location. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room.

United KingdomThe rooftop plunge pool area was being renovated during my visit, not a major issue since the beach is a five minute walk away.
Excellent location at the southern end of 5th Avenue and about 5 mins walk from the ADO turistica bus station. Mariana the manger was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Buffet breakfast served, which looks good, but I did not experience. Also ideally located for the fast ferry to Cozumel.

United States of AmericaBathroom: There was a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom. You could smell it upon entering the hotel room, even if the bathroom door was closed, though after some time, you wouldn't notice it as much. However, the smell was quite strong every time I entered the bathroom itself. Unfortunately, I avoided using the bathroom as much as possible as the smell was quite strong in there. Granted, I did not inform the staff as I thought it was something beyond their control, something with the general sewage system. Perhaps I could have remedied it by purchasing an air freshener of some sort.
Room: The bed was very comfortable, with a nice comforter and five or six pillows. The room offers a newer flat screen TV to watch Netflix, a ceiling fan and a remote control air conditioner. There is a balcony with chairs. There is a shared fridge in the common area where you can store perishables. Location: The hotel is near (a 5 minute walk) the ADO bus station, Paseo del Carmen shopping mall, the Cozumel ferry entrance, Parque Los Fundadores, and the beginning of the 5th Avenue (the tourist area with many restaurants, bars, shops). The hotel is tucked away from the noise of 5th Avenue. However, if you plan explore beyond the main street attractions, plan for an average 20 minute walk (Mega grocery store, El Fogon, etc).

AustriaSometimes a weird smell in the bathroom, but not too bad.
Very nice and clean room, we got a free upgrade when checking in so we had a very big room and a nice balcony. Everything was clean, the hotel is in a quiet street, but everything (ADO, Colectivo, Av 5, Beach....) Is really close to walk. The staff was super friendly, breakfast for 140 pP from a buffet is good and the cook is really nice as well. Bed was big and comfortable, showers also good.

MexicoOne thing to note is that the bathroom window is visible from the building next door. While this wasn't a concern for me, it's something worth considering for those who prioritize absolute privacy.
The hotel's location is truly a standout feature. Situated just a short 3-minute walk from the beach and the bustling Paseo Del Carmen, Che Suites offers a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The proximity to the beach made it incredibly easy to enjoy the sun and sand at any time. Additionally, the secure surroundings added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. ADO Estación Turística is 3-4 blocks away which is super convenient! You also have OXXO, Carl's Jr, Starbucks, and many clothing stores (Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Fullsand, Old Navy, etc.) less than one block away. Room was spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The cleanliness of the room was also noteworthy; it was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining a spotless environment. The staff at Che Suites were not only very friendly but also went the extra mile to assist with a late check-in, ensuring a smooth start to my stay. The check-out process was equally hassle-free, making my departure from the hotel a breeze. Internet connection was stable and fast. Accessibility Note: It's worth mentioning that guests need to take stairs to access their rooms. If stairs are not an issue for you, this is a fantastic option. Personally, it added a touch of exercise to my day. Considering this factor, if you have no problem with stairs, Che Suites is a great option.

United KingdomThe location is perfect. Just a few minutes from the 5th Avenue, also from ADO station. If you want to go to Cozumel, the ferry is 5-10 minutes away. You can use the kitchen there, you have a few fridges (choose which is nearest to your room). You have drinkable water in the kitchen. The members of staff are very friendly. You can ask any information, they are happy to help, and they have knowledge 😉 I would definitely recommend it!
