Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe music at the bar was loud, and my friend and I didn’t like the ldisco music. Would have been nice to hear some Latino pop, salsa, boleros or anything with Spanish lyrics.
The tents were spacious, beds comfy and the restaurant/bar and beach are steps from the tents. Amazing view of the mountains!

CanadaGreat spot! The tent was roomy, and the bed was super comfy and warm during our stay in early December. The private bathroom is nice, and the shower has excellent water pressure. It was so nice to be under the stars at night and right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

CanadaOn a windy night the tent is super loud, flapping in the wind.
Amazing location right on the beach. Super friendly staff and exceptionally clean. Loved the homemade cold dip plunge. Bed was super comfortable and giant.

United StatesOverall great experience, just reminder that it is a tent and you are subject to the winds. We couldn't sleep one night because it was so windy and making a lot of noise against the tent. Bring earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper.
The location is right on the beach with plenty of lounging spaces included. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite which made it so easy to chill and relax. They also offer free use of the SUP boards, kayaks and other equipment which was a huge perk! The tent has a king-size bed and plenty of space inside to move around and put luggage. Personal outside shower was clean with warm water.

United StatesWe loved the property, just be aware that the yurts get very hot once the sun was out. We expected this and didn’t plan on staying inside during the day anyways.
The yurts were very unique and a fun place to spend a few days. They also offered paddle boards and kayaks for no additional charge. The beach bar was a cute place to hang but a little more on the pricey side for Mexico.

CanadaAmazing glamping experience at ChiloChill. Location is the best part of La Ventana beach, best sand and great launch area for kiters. We stayed for kiting and this was an ideal location, less busy than Playa Central. Really good food and drinks at the on-site restaurant / bar, staff was friendly and recommended a couple really off site activities. Sleeping in the glamping tents was a very unique experience, beds were super comfortable and the outdoor washroom was nice. Bring warm cloths if travelling here in winter months, we were there in January and it gets COLD at night.

SpainThe opening hours of the restaurant don’t make much sense taking into account that you wake up at sunrise and have to wait 2.5 hours for breakfast. Also, during our stay there was a child party and they were very noisy until late hours at night.
The idea is very nice and on the beach.

United StatesReally wanted to try Glamping, but was unimpressed. If this had been half the price we paid, it would have been fine, but not quite up to the price tag. Tents formed two busy lines perpendicular the sea, not “fronting” it. Private bathrooms were rudimentary, located behind tents along property walls, but did have running hot water. Tents were clean, with plenty of blankets, but had pretty cheap, nonbreathable, synthetic sheets. So, the quality was lacking and, for me, the charm. That said, families with kids were having a great time!

NetherlandsLack of attention to detail, the tents have bare minimum. No shade in front of the tent above the sitting area, very tiny rug that does nothing for the sand, one of the tent ropes is exactly in the middle of the entrance. Inside there’s 0 coziness. Bathroom could use some love, and the shower floor is outright dangerous. Staff were not per se very helpful. Overpriced services eg for airport transfer. And it’s quite far from everything in LV. Later I found out it may not be fully legal or environmentally friendly for this to be on the beach either..
Beachfront with a good restaurant and yoga & Pilates classes on the grounds. Didn’t try the kite school or spot but also available, and SUP on no wind days
