Noisy program at the pool and drunken behaviour of quite many guests. The staff should have been more strict on people reserving the sun beds + drinking & eating at the pool, which was clearly forbidden in the rules. Ridiculously expensive prices for spa treatments and massage.

Excellent location, hotel & services & restaurants. Spacious and comfortable room. Staff was mostly very kind, smiling and helpful. Lovely seaside view and walking distance to shopping street & fe Frida Kahlo museum at Playa del Carmen. North beach was good for relaxing at day time.

The lights in my room were not working, it should be checked before guests arrive. The street noise is bad. I guess it is something that we have to scarifies for such a busy location. It takes longer to get hot water sometime.

We had booked a room for three people, but everything was prepared for two (water bottles, duvets, sheets etc.). We didn't like the fact that the sun beds "had to be reserved" as early as possible. Despite the prohibition signs by the pool, you couldn't get a sun bed after eight o'clock anymore...

The site was big and well maintained. The hotel was well located and it also had a bit of beach front too. We really enjoyed all the foods and most of the drinks. The staff were friendly and polite, always ready for you.

Wyndham Alltra at Playa Del Carmen wasn't the most LGBTQIA+ friendly resort. A group of my friends and I (all middle-aged lesbians) were participating in movie trivia. We wanted to name our team "Las Lesbianas," but we were told that we couldn't name our team that because they didn't want to offend other guests. Other than that, everything else was okay.

I felt very safe at this resort. Very enclosed and staff were very welcoming and kind.

Unfortunately there was an ever present smell from the sea weed even though the beach was cleaned regularly. It was a challenge to find lounge chairs at the pool.

The property was very maintained and very clean. We really enjoyed our day on the rented cabana.

The room walls were a bit thin, quite noisy when people were in the hallways. It would be nice to have more vegan choices, I was reassured that the Brasas restaurant would have some vegan choices and they did not, but all the other restaurants were able to accommodate.

Very good stay, nice pools and bars. The drinks were great, great location and views. The staff were very nice. Great hot tub on the rooftop and the spa was very relaxing.

Upon arrival they insisted we had prepaid for only 2 guests in 2 rooms when in fact we had paid for all 4 guests..2 rooms in advance with booking.com..they didn't believe our paperwork and charged us an extra $2400..which I will have to dispute and decline to pay with my credit card company.

Great location. Beach area was fab - not too busy. Small but decent gym. Food options were great and nowhere ever felt overly crowded / busy. The oceanfront suite was fab - great view! Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The dining options are good but not amazing. We loved Zarape (Mexico restaurant) but didn’t enjoy Bella (Italian restaurant). The International buffet has a wide range of food options. The resort cocktails are blended slushies and get sickening quite quickly.

The food in the main buffet was repetitive and not that great. Lots of porc, squid and Mexican dishes which becomes annoying after a few days and it offered for the 3 meals. The breakfast was the best with lots of fruit and a variety of bread .We had lobster dinner in the restaurant but it was not worth the 69$ USD as only the tail was provided. I have done better resort since Mexico for the food. During lunch there was an outdoor grill of hamburgers and hot dogs. It was good. The drinks are very typical, fake juice but great premium alcool for some. Overall for Playa del Carmen , this hotel is the best option for all inclusive and very close to the 5 th ave and beaches.

The first room had a horrible smell coming from the bathroom and a party downstairs until 2 AM.

There was one day, that for unknown reasons, we didn't have hot water, and that was a little bit disappointing. Also, it would've been nice to have more water bottle availability, like in the snack shop or by the pool.

Location was awesome, just a couple of blocks from the party street!!! Meals were really good, that vibe and atmosphere at the pool every day was amazing!!!

When we checked in; although I had booked a room unfortunately it stated I booked for 1 instead of 2. Staff said to give him $200 cash and he would add my husband to the room. Ended up, he just gave him an extra bracelet. We also got talked into a vacation time share thing; was given a 100$ voucher (they put in my husband's name and we couldn't even use it since they never added him onto the reservation. Wasted almost w hours for nothing and to find out the staff pocketed the $200. Guess he needed it for Christmas

I didn't like how things closed EARLY like the jacuzzi. It was locked up at 6PM and far away from the main pool. The main pool did not have enough SEATS. and the cabana's were surrounding the pool more so people sitting in the chairs couldn't really get a good view which was unfair because people would have to pay for the Cabanas. The Cabanas were just TALL. I've been to other resorts and they would have some space in between the pool and spread out the pool chairs and cabanas where you can actually see the pool.

It was an awesome stay. I would always see people cleaning and everyone there is so helpful and nice. The food was good compared to other all inclusive ive been to! I love their fresh juices in the morning!
