Unfortunately, I noticed a few very small cockroaches in the bathroom. I told the staff and the lady cleaned immediately. However, the next day, I noticed another. Old colonial buildings, sadly have their drawbacks. That said, I would definitely stay there again for one or two nights. I’d recommend providing soap.

The staff were extremely nice. Very welcoming and helpful. The internet in common areas was good, and I could work. The double room was large. High ceilings. There was a fan in the room. The location was a few blocks from the main square.

lack of outlets, the balcony door did not close completely so dust comes in & could be noisy. Some units are located out of wifi coverage.

Other guests hanging out in the lobby were making noise until 3 am, and the whole space is kind of an echo chamber, so it was very loud.

The staff were very kind and helpful. A reasonable price, and a location close to the Zocalo. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom, but not anything overwhelming. The hot water took ages to heat up. Nothing too bad, it just needs a couple of touches.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the wifi was decent (after changing rooms).

There was not functional wifi in the room. And unfortunately just cold water, so I was not able to take a shower.

The room was reasonable for the price. Very close to the city centre with a nice street view. The stuff was very helpful and nice.

The only disadvantage is the noisy road. In my room there are not even glass windows, only wooden shades with holes and I can also hear everything through the connection door to the neighbour's room...

Perfect central location. Big room with private bathroom (altogether 30sqm). Safe place. Fair price!

The building, an old monastery, was in keeping with the spirit of the city. The rooms are big and clean. They saw everything in an inner patio. All our friends are close and there were beautiful places where we could meet. The location of the hotel was very close to all the attractions.

Wifi not great in the room. Dorm without window or natural light. Bathroom door was not really closable, was no problem though since I was the only one in the dorm.

Some lights, ie. bedside lamp, didn't have bulbs. The hostel seemed to be on the only block in the whole city where working girls congregated. And specifically right in front of it. Though we saw no evidence of the hostel being used for their services.

Check in was different. Paid the money and was given the key by a man fixing the door lock. Not sure I ever met the real receptionist.

I’ve stayed with your accommodation in 2019, when I indeed enjoyed with nice inner court yard +planters, good breakfast included, etc.. I’m very disappointed, however, that courtyard is now dead space with poor maintained, 2 front doors must be opened by Keys-very hard time to manipulate those door keys, no more breakfast, even hot water not dispensed well by hot pot, very strict regulations by a manger regarding keys, shower, hoyo water dispenser, etc…

Listing says that you can pay with card, when we arrived they said we could only pay in cash which was frustrating. Really noisy in rooms by road all throughout day/night - needs better sound insulating. It seems to be the place where prostitutes congregate in the evening.

NOISE. The hostal didn't have a clearly posted rule about noise and when you have to be quiet. I wish it was like 9pm. There were some noisy guests, even late into the night (past midnight). Also, my room was on the street side. There are 4 rooms like that. Noisy street until about 8:45pm. Then, there was the water truck with the booming pump everyday: it could be 11pm to past midnight or 6am. The noise is hard because the doors to the "balcony" was had many gaps and not really shutting out any noise.

It was very central and close to many things in the historical district. It didn't include breakfast. It was an old style building. I like that.
