The beds could do with some curtains for a bit more privacy.

Pretty much everything. All the staff were fantastic, diligent and smiley. The breakfast was simple but still with a good variety (and you could upgrade for a small price). Good location - in the historic centre but in a quiet part of it. Bed was comfy.

Breakfast is very simple. They give you your bed sheets, you have to prepare your bed yourself (which is good for me but not at this price). The welcome wasn't very good.

The large bins in toilets full of dirty toilet paper and the smell that ocurrs. Despite the fact they clean them daily. Would be great to have a kettle out for everyone to use in kitchen as we want to make a coffee and there is only cold water.

Location, staff and facilites are great. Option to have a menu of options for breakfast for a great price on top of the basic breakfast. The blankets are awsome same as bed sheets and towels clean and good quality materials. They alllow you to leave in a locker you luggage with no charge before and after check in. The roof terrace is awsome! Sunbathing and sunsets are great there! Water available in kitchen anytime! Saves you carrying extra. The decoration is awsome!

Great hostel in SMA, it is located in the center of the city, it is just a few mins of walking to all the tourist attractions, and it is just a few blocks away from the Mercado so you can get some food at the food vendors. I stayed in the 4 ppl room, it was a good size, there is a locker under the bed for your luggage, and each bed has its own power outlet and a small box for personal items. The breakfast is simple, cereal, bread, jam, coffee, or tea. You can request eggs or other items for a few dollar more. The staff was friendly and wifi is strong on the first and second floors, but it is a bit weak on the Terrence. I would stay again when I'm in town

This is my favorite hostel in San Miguel! I have now stayed here 4 times and will stay again. This is the best value I have found in San Miguel. It has with a central location and easy to walk everywhere. It was super clean and great staff!

It was a bit annoying having to rely on the one light there's in the room, just the one in the ceiling. It would be wonderful if they could add a small lamp on the bedside table.

The location is fantastic! And the room is basic but yet very comfortable, great mattress! The bathrooms are kept clean and in great condition. Great chilaquiles for breakfast included in the price.

Wonderful, peaceful accommodations with a friendly staff. Excellent experience!!! Within close walking distance to all of the sites of San Miguel de Allende. I would definitely come back!!!!

I liked the terrace, although they can have more comfortable chairs. But even then, it's very attractive, with clean restrooms and an amazing view. I liked the clean bathrooms. I liked the reception staff. I was overall very pleased while staying here. I would choose them over any other place, again.

The location was great, friendly staff, clean bathroom and good wifi. However, the included breakfast was pretty basic. I know you can pay more for additional items and options, but it might just be worth slightly increasing the price per night and providing the Mexican breakfast options!

Great rooftop with lots of places to sit. The breakfast was fine with coffee, cereal and toast and you can order other things for just 40 pesos. The bed was very comfortable and it has cable TV in the room. We had a private room with shared bathroom. The bathroom was only shared with two other rooms so there was no problem with that. Even though it's a hostel, it was very quiet and the location is great.

One staff member, Fernando, was difficult with me for some reason. He first ordered me to move from my seat at breakfast, even though I was still eating, charging multiple devices and working at my spot. The hostel was not full, so possibly management should think about adding more tables and chairs to the common area (there's definitely more space available). When I explained that I was still eating and charging, he then tried to take my plate away and told me I needed to wear my mask, (even though I was eating and everyone else in the room had their masks off). Then, when I ordered additional breakfast, he chided me for not speaking more Spanish - told me I was disrespecting him - which I find inhospitable and rude. I booked here because they clearly advertise that they speak English and my poor language skills have nothing to do with disrespecting others. Paradoxically, I feel I was the one being disrespected.

The room and bed were comfortable. The hostel was relatively quiet. The water hot for showering and the terrace was nice. With one exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, one staff member was unnecessarily rude and all it takes is one "bad egg".
