MexicoI think they charge way too much compared to other hotels close by and I have come to the conclusion that they assign non updated rooms to those booking through booking sites.
The location in proximity to the bus depot is fantastic. They finally put a coffee maker in the room. Even though the area I was in is very tired and in need of some TLC it was clean and everything was in working order.

United States of AmericaI have stayed at this hotel four times over two years. It seems that there is "deferred maintenance" on most rooms. Each room has something that does not work right-- lighting, shower, etc. The photo on the website does NOT represent what the rooms look like. It seems a bit high-priced for what you get.
The best feature of this hotel is its location across the street from the ADO terminal in downtown Cancun. It has a nice airy restaurant with decent meal prices and a quiet pool area.

CanadaThis visit I did not have a coffee pot in the room. I requested and the night staff said it would be delivered, but the morning staff did not and knew nothing about it!! Also the air conditioning would not work from the remote and had to stand on the chair to manually turn off and on.

HungaryThe hotel evokes the glory of the past, clearly visible it was built with great care and it is a pity that owners let it run down with no maintenance. Staff is very nice and helpful, do their best to help with any issue, but there is too much of issues. 1st room 1st night at the grund floor (121) looked like a 10 dollar hostel room in south Asia, no light, full of mold, all our clothes getting wet by the morning, no sleep at all due to all kind of noises. 2nd night, 2nd room (after a room change) on the floor (234), was much better, more spacious, lighter, with an opening window, comfy beds, good sleep, no noises...but flooding after each shower and aircon went wrong, impossible to swith off, room getting really cold. Maintenance has no idea what to do, self made solution applied (covered the do not cover part).
Very nice and helpful staff, comfy beds, great breakfast and an excellent location. ADO bus station next door (could not hear the traffic by night), R1 bus going to the Hotel zone is just 1-2 minutes walk, restaurants and shops all around.

CanadaOverpriced compared to hotels nearby which are also walking distance to ADO. The room size was OK but the layout was very inefficient. The room was clean but it was very musty and humid. It had the wet basement smell. It needs airing. I was so humid in the room, the tiles which were all over the room were slippery. The bathroom door was made of thin plastic material and didn't provide proper privacy. It kept coming off of it's rail. And it had a hole in it. There was a small window to the side of the room but it was exposed to anyone who walks by. It had to remain closed. The room had light but still felt gloomy.
Location is good if you are catching an ADO as it is right across the street. Staff were nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
