This time around there was a guy talking loudly at 2 am, couldn't get much sleep, other than that it was good.

Pictures on the booking page are not what the rooms look like! Is false!! Room looked a bit rough, bathroom door very small to walk through and of course bathroom small. Staffing preoccupied talking while having you waiting and finally we arrived 2:30 pm and will not allow us to in till 3pm because of booking had here 3 pm check in so makes wait despite being rooms available.

Any amenities like a bottle of water, shampoo, soap, coffee maker the tv remote control didn't work , too many stairs especially for my mom , dirty sheets, noisy doors, i paid for 2 rooms one of the rooms was good except for the dirty sheets but the other one was very bad

Staff were friendly and helpful. They do not speak English but were patient with our limited spanish and always tried to assist anyway they could. The location is ideal for walking around the historic centre. Very clean and spacious.

Prety much nothing Really bad and dutty room They didn't change the sheets on both beds so nasty I requested a king size bed room they mentioned that they don't have any king size bed then why in booking. Com was there this is something that you two guys needs to clarify this been happening to me so often The towels too old Bathroom too small and too dutty

we were not given the room that we booked because they said that they had given the room to someone else who extended their stay. they gave us a worse room and they didn't give us a refund for the difference. then they cancelled our booking on booking.com

It was hard to regulate the shower temperature. It is in the most hopping area of town so if you want to have the window open and it's a weekend bring some earplugs. I was there a Saturday night and it was loud and chilly so I closed the window then Sunday night was absolutely fine.

Fantastic location right in the middle of everything so much to do eat see, very comfortable room, very friendly staff. Decently comfortable bed, huge towels, plenty of storage even an entire closet. At this price point I didn't expect it but the staff came in and cleaned the room and changed the towels and stuff for a 2 night stay.

This is not a family place like they say. Poor customer service and the pictures doesn't look the same. It is totally different and it is awful. I blame myself for not taking pictures of the place.

I booked 2 nights at Hotel Rex (on Google Maps it’s called Capital O Hotel Rex). On the first night I woke up to itching, what I first thought were mosquitoes, turned out to be BED BUGS – see photos. I found 4 bed bugs crawling on my bed, got bitten at several places all over my body. This was at 3:30am. While I would have loved to leave the hotel all together, it was not possible at this hour, so I requested another room for the rest of the night. (In the morning I realized that the new room had a broken faucet spraying water all over me and the bathroom…) In the morning I told at the reception that I’m moving out, the receptionist took my details and agreed to reimburse me for both nights (which I prepaid on arrival). They informed me that it will take a couple of days to refund the credit card payment. After nothing happened a week later, I wrote them emails – got no response. Another week later I went there in person, spoke to the manager, who first told me that the receptionist didn’t take my details correctly (??) than wanted to dispute my claim for a full refund (saying that I got another room for the first night, wanting to only reimburse me for the 2nd night which I didn’t spend there), than later (when I mentioned that I am still itchy from the bed bugs and that I am not willing to pay for that night) he agreed to reimburse in full and promised that they will transfer it within 24 hours. This was two weeks ago, nothing happened, they don’t respond to my emails. They lie and make false claims, they do not respond to emails, and they have old, run-down facilities (borderline-disgusting by itself) and BED BUGS. (Except the night-guard who gave me the new room at the middle of the night) the receptionists or the manager never once apologized or showed regret or surprise for what had happened, so one can assume it wasn’t the first time with bed bugs.

I was here for a quick one night stay and it was perfect for that. The room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom is a little small. The location was perfect to see everything that Toluca has to offer.
