Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNo Wi-Fi in the rooms. We had cockroaches, not too many, but we saw them several times. Bedsheets and towels were washed and clean, but with stains which still made it uncomfortable to use. The room was really humid, so all the clothes were a little bit wet. Safe didn’t work. We couldn’t open the window (maybe that’s why it was so humid). In general, the room looked old and not that nice, there was no wardrobe, curtains were super old with stains everywhere
Good location. Nice pool. Conditioner. Big bathroom

CanadaWell the negative point is that there is no coffee machine and no internet in the rooms you have to access it in the lobby and they should improve the breakfast
About the room, if you could get the one in ground level it will be a delight to wake up and sit outside so you could see birds and little lizard roaming around you. For the location, it is a perfect area because you are in both direction, by bus the R1 or R2, one side at 10 min from Cancun downtown and on the other direction you head to the beaches, hotels and bar clubs. And as for the air conditioning in the room it was working well

SingaporeThe breakfast was really pathetic. They only serve tea and if you want coffee, you'll have to pay for it. We were given 2 slices of toast with cold Scrambled eggs. The restaurant lightings were really dim and there were mosquitoes all over the place. We stayed 2N at the hotel and decided to skip the 2nd morning's breakfast. This is the first time that we skipped a hotel breakfast! No one should book this hotel with breakfast! The rooms definitely needs upgrading. The mirrors were stained, the bedroom floor was oily and the A/C was pretty loud.
Good location. Walking distance to the beach.

BrazilWe’re very worried about the place because in our way to the hotel, our taxi driver warned us that a few passengers told him that they were robbed over there. We only spent one night, but it’s good to let others know that the hotel had a reputation.
The room was really ok. The shower was good, but the room was very slippery because there wasn’t enough windows for ventilation.

NorwayDid not find a way to pay ahead for breakfast, so paying for breakfast was a little too expensive so we mostly did not eat at the bar. The trees that gave shade to the pool also made it so that there were leaves in the pool sometimes. Also birds would sometimes sit in the trees above the pool, and sometimes the birds poop in the pool.
Fairly big area. Next to the swamp. Nice trees and some small lizards around the pool. Cute raccoons roam the area at night. (But don’t pet the raccoons, they are wild and could carry diseases.) The trees give shade to the pool.

LatviaI don't know if it was just my room or it's standard but I was not really happy about not having a refrigerator in my room.
Good location, not far from the beach, close to some restaurants, and grocery stores, but otherwise on a quiet street. Comfortable, nice, clean place, easy to find, and for good money.

IrelandThe room had no WiFi and the reception WiFi was extremely poor and kept cutting out. The staff were not helpful at all! When asked where the access to the beach was they couldn’t even give exact directions. When we asked about taxis they wanted us to pay crazy money and then we heard them laugh about it. They made us wait a whole day before they could get us a key to the safe because they didn’t have enough. The room didn’t have a kettle.
The location was good and it was good value for money. The air conditioning was excellent at night. Good value for money considering the location.
