Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room itself looked quite dated and had ceiling beams which were easy to hit your head on when getting out of bed. I personally wouldn't want this room again because of this. Key lock on door was temperamental and took several attempts to open at times. occasional tram noise in the night could be annoying.
Room was clean, bathroom looked recently refurbished. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Location was good. found the bed very comfortable.

United KingdomGetting into the hotel was difficult due to only having one crossing on one side of the road, especially difficult in the snow as it was not gritted. Wood surfaces in the room were marked and the plugs were in strange places away from the bed.
Large room that had a number of amenities available like tea and coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with a number of options including separate gluten free and dairy free alternatives.

It has all the facilities one can expect, at a good standard. Kind staff. Good breakfast that exceeded my expectations with a variety of foods, including healthier options such as turkey bacon among a lot of vegetables, eggs, etc, as well as nice, sweet treats, breads, and so on.
