How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The rooms are a bit old and dated and also the bathroom felt dated and hot water is inconsistent. In summers without AC the room gets really hot and is not advisable
The hotel is in a great location in the center of pokhara and the mountains are visible from the terrace. the breakfast is also really nice and the lake is in a walkable distance from the the hotel. Adam is a really friendly owner and also they offer really nice tours

The staff was very kind and helping us with all we needed. I had a job interview and our room was too warm so they were so kind to let me borrow an AC room for a few hours.

No complaints, all good.
Adam Hotel is great value for money. Location is perfect and the balcony view captures the beauty of Fewa Lake, which is one of the highlights in Pokhara. We booked for two nights but extended another night since the place really allowed us to relax. The breakfast areas view of the lake is perfect for slow mornings and peaceful book reading spot with a majestic sunset view. You will only be like 3 mins walk to get to the lake and surrounding areas for restaurant, shops, pubs and bars if you are into night parties. What made it stood out the most is how Adam, the owner, personally assisted and arranged our activities with a reasonable price lower than what is offered on GetYourGuide activities. We are happy that we gained friends with honest and warm people of Pokhara just like Adam and Tara, our tour driver. Kudos to all the friendly staff of Adam Hotel.

Adam, the owner, received me when I arrived. He was extremely warm and welcoming. I decided to stay 3 nights instead of 1. The location is TOP NOTCH. In 5 mins you’re sitting by the lake in a restaurant. The rooftop has nice views. Basic breakfast is included, wifi is good. I felt taken care of every day when I saw Adam I greeted me by my name Definitely a place to stay while in Pokhara! Thank you!

Nothing really. Except the toilet paper they used have a strong weird smell 🤣
Good location, easy accessible to everywhere. Swimming pool at top floor offering good view over the lake. Room is spacious. Their super powerful hot shower is my favourite, especially after our 10 days trek, it felt so good. They have tours with good price and also exchange facilities onsite, which is very convenient.

Pool could use just a bit of a clean.
Staff were delightful and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable, spacious, and clean. Breakfast and dinner is yummy and has stunning views. We adored the pool!

Almost everything went smoothly.
The location of the hotel was great. We ordered a room with a balcony. The room was big and we had a great balcony to the lake and the location was just in the lakeside street so it was close to everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and with ac. The breakfast was great with eggs, fruits and bread.
