Rooms are old, road is congested, had to find valet. Pool was in building next door. Wasn’t worth the money.

The pictures listed are NOT of the hotel, theyre of the hotel next door that they send you to for pool, and laundry facilities. There is no parking unless you pay $25 a day for the same next door hotel. The entire east half of the hotel is next to a high-rise hotel being built, so you're awakened by construction noise, and loud music. There is no view of the ocean like advertised, you see nothing but construction and trash. The street out front is full of potholes, so watch that rental! Breakfast area is way too small, and is shared with next door hotel, and is the exact same food every day. No microwave or hair drier in the rooms..and the elevator feels like impending doom the first few times you get in it. I paid extra to not stay in a place like this. The photos are total misrepresentation.

Everything the TV wasn't working the light in the bathroom wasn't working. Etc...

Nothing not even breakfast was available until after the fact. Try to send us to another hotel to have breakfast when I am oxygen dependent and can't do the walking. This place was a joke.

2 hours after checking in someone got the key to our room and came in. He was suppose to get the room next door. It scared us. Elevator was strong and scary. Our door was sticky and dirty. I found fake nails under the bed. The walls are thin we couldn't sleep well. It was ok for 1 night stay, since our flight was canceled.

Where do I begin. If you have a vehicle, there is no parking. The building next door is under construction, so be prepared to rise and shine to the wonderful sounds of that construction. There is no handicap ramp to the elevator. Our shower did not drain. The elevator is a death trap!

The only good thing about this hotel is the close proximity to the beach.

They were very accommodating, especially after our flight was canceled and had to book at the last minute. Their front desk was very inviting even with it being late at night. The hotel had breakfast, which was great after a long trip.

The breakfast area was too small and there were not a lot of tables to sit. When it's crowded, it is horrible. After a nice rest, it's terrible to have breakfast in that small place . It makes me anxious.

Great old hotel with character in a great location. The staff were amazing, extremely nice and helpful and returned a very expensive smart phone that i had left in the room on check out by mistake - this deserves extra points as it was so kind of them. Near the beach with amazing snorkelling, fish, fan corals and turtles amazing and free!

I was extremely impressed with El Canario Lagoon Hotel. The staff was very kind and friendly.The breakfast was absolutely satisfying. The location is perfectly close to the lagoon and a short walk to the beach.

I had marked the space online requesting a crib, but we didn't have one the first night, and the desk couldn't provide one because that's housekeeping's responsibility. I would've put it in the notes if I had known I needed to request it there, too.

Breakfast, location, and cleanliness were the top positive aspects of the facility. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Very outdated! Very hard to find, the room was outdated with a small tv, no iron, no blow dryer, the beds weren’t comfortable. Parking was scarce, you had to go into a nearby hotel for laundry and pool. the view is a construction site! Definitely not a resort for the fee being charged ☹️

I have stayed at the Canario once before few years back and although the price is a good value the property was much cleaner. The stay was just connecting stay and for the price it is very reasonable. However, the staff is extremely accommodating and very friendly. Again, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room.

It was $20 a day to park at the nearest parking lot. The hotel it's self doesn't have a pool they send you to the Hyatt to use that small pool, and you need a code that they don't know. It's an old hotel that needs to be worked on.

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. The beach was a nice distance, and there were plenty of bars and restaurants around.
