The price of the food.. 4 wings cut in half makes 8 pieces. The cost was $19. That’s ridiculous. I ordered Uber Eats instead.

I was scared to book due to reading the reviews but I took a chance due to the location and swim up bar. I’m so glad that I did. The hotel was way more than I expected. I really like the room key elevator key. That’s an amazing feature. I had the breakfast voucher. It wasn’t what I expected however the food tasted amazing. There was a staff member in the kitchen who provided us with a map and told us everywhere to visit and who to catch the buses.

No one told us about any restaurant or where anything was at in the hotel. The guy was not knowledgeable or friendly at the counter. That I paid in FULL and provided a credit card for $240 deposit and later that day they ran my card for $846.46. Why? No one or manager can explain. I ask if it paid in full and deposit holding who will run my card. NO ANSWER. No nothing . No friendly or helpful

There was only one small elevator working, as the other was broken. One of our evenings there was no water for 5 hours and when the water came back it was brown and the next morning showers were cold. The included breakfast requires 1.5 hours because service is very slow.

    Fantastic location.

We requested adjoining rooms back when we booked the hotel in October for a February stay. When we arrived, we were told that there weren’t any adjoining rooms available. Then, we were told that our room was an adjoining room and they just needed housekeeping to clean up the room next door. We waited in one of the rooms into the evening (we tried to call for an update two times and no one answered the phone; we went down to the lobby twice and were told it was being taken care of). After four hours, we learned that there was somebody in that room and it was never an option. We then had to wait for them to clean up another room. It should be noted that the second room was also a potential adjoining room. With a little planning and care, this request could have been accommodated. The hotel was nowhere near full capacity. We were given $40 in breakfast vouchers for our troubles. The shower turns the bathroom into a huge puddle. The little shelves in the shower to hold your shampoo and conditioner were slanted, so the bottles kept falling off. It was difficult to come back from the pool/beach or after a shower on the tile floor because you felt like you were going to constantly slip. I understand that carpeting may not feel as clean, but the tiles were definitely a liability. The hotel lobby is beautiful, but definitely lacks an island vibe. Instead of playing any kind of tropical music, they play rock pop and jazz. One of three elevators was out of order for most of the week. The TVs are large, but they are not smart TVs. The channel offerings are limited. Some didn’t have any volume and some were very static looking. The hotel charges $35 per night per room plus tax for amenities including Wi-Fi, beach and pool chairs and umbrellas, daily recreational activities and use of pool toys. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for our week-long stay. I was told it was being upgraded and they wouldn’t get to our floor this week.

The beach is public access, so get there early to reserve a spot. The folks that work there were great and work very hard. The pool has a great vibe with tropical music playing and the staff is friendly and works hard. There are technically four pools. One is a very tiny kiddie pool. One is a six foot saltwater pool. The pool with the swim up bar is 3.5 feet and has a volleyball net and a children’s slide. The last pool is the hot tub. The folks who work in the beach are also very kind and work very hard. The housekeeping staff was also very nice. It is nice that there is daily housekeeping. That hasn’t been the case in all of the past hotels we’ve stayed in lately. The staff at Cafe Caribe was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Besides our issue with the first night, three whole staff was very kind.

One elevator has been down forever. The poolside restaurant closes too early, and the poolside bar's drinks prices are extremely high. The prices were a lot less money, anywhere up or down the strip. It's no wonder the in-house restaurant and bar were completely empty.

It was dated. The ocean view balcony room we booked had the seal broken in the glass so it was “frosted” and not so much of a view.

Closeness to the restaurants and OSJ. Room was fairly large (even larger bathroom) to accommodate 4 guests. Service was slow. Concierge was extremely helpful. Swim up bar at the pool. Although no mint for 2 days so we couldn’t enjoy mojitos!

There is no poolside service unless you go to the bar. The food options and the hours of the lunch service are minimal. There is an indoor restaurant with longer hours but it’s expensive for what it is and it takes time out of the day. There are only three 2 options on site, other than snacks from the gift shop. There are lots of options with 5-10 minute Uber ride or 10 minute walk, which is not a big deal unless you have kids who are tired by end of day.

It was nice to have a small beach and inlet that was safe for swimming. Bring water shoes though because there are a lot of sharp shell fragments. The pool is nice and there is a swim up bar. We also liked the hot tub and separate salt water pool and water slide. Room was nice and the beds were very comfortable.
