Great location, rooms were clean and well serviced which was a nice surprise as I didn’t expect it. Lovely quiet pool area with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Pool was cool 🥶 but I’m sure when the weather is very hot it’s nice for a dip. Snack bar had good choices. Staff were friendly and helpful

The pillows where a little too soft for our liking but the beds were very comfortable.

A few improvements could be made:- bath towels are very small, no dressing table with light and mirror above, beds are too firm and no facility to be made into a double. Also an information booklet for cooker, microwave and tv programmes and details on phone to call reception or outside number.

Very well appointed accommodation. Everything needed was supplied. Shower was excellent an hot water was plentiful. Location is superb and within easy reach of beach, restaurants and buses.

Price was high for a studio apartment but it was high season and all of Alvor accommodation has increased.

You can hear some noise from the other rooms.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We were a 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the main town or to the super market. It was very nice to have a full kitchen to make food in and the pool and lounge chairs were great as well! When we checked out we also had the option to leave our luggage and shower if need be. Highly recommended!

AC would be great, especially when it’s roasting outside.

Great location, lovely terrace and a nice Spanish vibe. Great location, right in the middle of the town plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around.

10am checkout ; 4pm check in, a bit cheeky of them , we were really pushed out at 10am by cleaners at the door with mops. Get more cleaners in and leave people in rooms till 12am like a normal hotel

I found the staff very unfriendly on reception. They could be more welcoming and at least smile at you instead of making u feel you are annoying them.

The pool area is lovely but pool very shallow and small.

Nothing we didn’t like, the apartment location was good. Easy access to shops, cafeterias, beach also village.

It was clean and quite spacious, location wasn’t too far from beach and shops. We were fortunate to have a sea view which was lovely.

Pool could have been bigger but really did not effect our stay.

Perfect location. Very modern, clean apartment with air con and WiFi throughout room and complex. Small pool but plenty of sun beds and a roof terrace. Also great snack bar with good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Helpful staff. Rooms cleaned every day except Sunday. Would definitely stay here again.

Alvor Mar Apartments are in a great location, near to beach and restaurants. All the staff we met were very friendly and courteous. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Would defiantly go back again.

Drawers required in bedroom for clothes storage etc. The hair dryer is too basic and if you bring your own you have to use the mirror outside the bedrooms to dry your hair
