Parking. It was not easy to find a parking spot near the place.

Location was convenient for hiking the Porto de Dos via Cliff Paths and seeing the town of Lagos. Breakfast was wonderful - huge selection and very tasty. Room was adequate and quiet.

It was a bit crowded one morning in the breakfast area but staff did a great job of managing it.

We booked one of their larger rooms and it was very comfortable. Staff members were friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient and the breakfast selection was tremendous. We had a rental car and although the property doesn’t have private parking we had no trouble finding a spot. Without a car it’s possible to walk to the old town or to the seafront.

We had trouble with Wifi in our room, but we did have good access in common areas.

A lovely room with a very comfortable bed and wonderful shower in a quieter part of the city with good walking access to downtown. We loved sitting on our balcony in the evenings with tea or wine and looking out over the pool. We also appreciated the relaxing spa and pool area. The breakfast was incredible, and the staff always kind and helpful.

Everything was perfect.

We were impressed by the high quality of everything at this hotel. The staff was professional and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfasts were a daily delight with all the delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. The team of six women run the breakfasts from start to finish exceptionally well. My friend and I enjoyed the sauna and steam room followed by a swim in the beautifully lit pool. All in all, a most wonderful experience. Obrigada!

They seem to own a large complex of buildings— Reception was a block or more from where we stayed (taxis come outside reception area) & it can be awkward to wheel the luggage around. We were only there overnight so didn't explore the area.

Nice original building & office staff were very helpful. The room Itself was clean & well appointed- v comfortable. Shower worked well, there was a teapot & 2 coffee pods. Breakfast was terrific - delicious and a very ample spread!

Lovely rooms which managed to be both traditional with dark wood furniture and blue/white tiles but also modern paint decor effects and concrete in bathroom. Comfortable balcony furniture with view over pool. Lovely comfortable bed, and amazing variety at breakfast time, especially for vegetarians.

I didn't care for the guesthouse. This was my error in not speaking with them directly when booking and understanding the difference. We had a terrible balcony view of an ugly apartment building across the street. It was disheartening being walked through the beautiful grounds of the main house only to be walked across the street to the guesthouse which doesn't come close to comparing. The bathrooms at each of the pools did not have a lock that worked.

There are no bad points about this hotel.

The hotel was clean and modern, breakfast was delicious and fresh with a good choice. The location was peaceful and bed was very comfortable (better than home), I left feeling very rested. An easy stroll into town where there is a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Neighborhood you walk through to get to Praia Dona Ana was rundown but thats not their fault!
