Our room was disappointing. The bed had cheap linen and pillows. The decor didn’t suit the establishment. We had a room in the garden, maybe the rooms in the house are nicer?

Great overnight stay on Camino- we even managed a swim in March! Hint: the brown pool is warmer than the blue pool. Dinner was excellent.

Perfect location on the Camino. Felt very opulen t, great room and facilities. Swimming pool a real treat after a day's walking. Lovely room and facilities. Dinner and breakfast delicious. Staff super helpful and friendly. Nice to have a kettle to make tea and a fridge to keep drinks cold. This was one of our most favorite places we stayed while walking the camino. Highly recommend.

The hotel was so historic. The host/owner had so much information on the place. You could tell he was very proud of the work that had been done on the place. We chose to have supper there. Paulo was our waiter and he was pleasant, kind and easy to communicate with. We are not fluent in Portuguese although we tried hard, he spoke good English and so that made it easy. The surroundings were beautiful.

Paula and other staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They serve an optional dinner that was delicious and filling and allowed us to meet other pilgrims. Breakfast was also great. The estate was gorgeous! I wish we'd gotten there sooner to swim in the pool. We'd love to return there.

Everything about the place Antonio from the D day he was Class. I cannot forget his son on the 1st day and the ladies which had assisted us wow. will be visiting again def. Thank you guys for such a wonderful service myself and my family we love it.

Weather. It rained the whole week so i couldnt use the swimming pools.

The owners were accomodating for special requests. The ambiance is charming with modern conveniences. Meals were excellent.

They were very welcoming and kind. We asked for a table outside during the check-in and they prepared it for us just before the dinner time, it was lovely. I liked the people and the food as much as the hotel

The room was stuffy. Window opened just inches, no fan, no AC, so stuffy environment. We also had a large gaggle of flies bombing on us.

Lovely country inn...so very happy to land in its comfort after biking the Camino. They fed us and did our laundry. Lovely property. Staff were fabulous.

Not really value for money compared to other nice properties we have stayed in. On the Camino path but remote from other facilities. Shower temperature difficult to control. Breakfast quite good but brewed urn coffee very average.

Quality of lighting in the room was quite bad. For elder people the brightness of the lighting is very important. We couldn't figure out how to heat the room a bit.

Thankful that staff would wash our clothing. Delicious dinner. Beautiful restful location. Nice breakfast in the morning. Nice wifi.
