Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandI was travelling with two other persons, we had two rooms in the hotel. There is a metro station near the hotel (about 200 m), the Lisbon metro system is easy to use and it helps a great deal especially if you don´t have many days for your stay in Lisbon. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor, they were cosy and had a nice view to the street. The members of the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good. In conclusion, we were very satisfied with our stay.

HungaryThe staircase was closed. We could use only the elevator. The district was not interesting.
The hotel is very close to the metro station (100 m). Our room was clean and quiet, the window looked to the backyard. It was very modern and not spacious. The bathroom was correct. The breakfast was satisfactory, a little bit boring and there was not any vegetable.

JapanAt one point we arrived at the front door of the hotel to find it locked, with no-one around to let us in. About 5 minutes later a member of staff showed up and let us in. Apparently this is something they need to do each time the reception staff needs to go to the toilet. I’m not sure how common that is, but I’ve never had such an experience before at a hotel in many years of travel.
The kitchen staff were kind enough to let us use their kettle a few times (as there is none in the room).

TurkeyVegan/vegetarian options in the breakfast can be improved. During my stay, construction work was going on inside the hotel. This led to significant discomfort. Considering all, price seems a bit expensive.
Everyone in the staff (at the desk, cleaning service, and breakfast) were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great.

GermanyThe room was FREEZING, Lisbon is a southern city but it's still chilly in winter and the heater in my room did not work very well. The room had one of those slots for your room key so every time I left all the power went out and all the heat left the room. Finally I used another plastic card so the room would still be heated while I was out and after three days my room reached a decent temperature. There was also no "Do Not Disturb" sign in my room to put on the door and housekeeping woke me up one morning. It is a bit of a walk to the metros, but very well located for the Christmas Market if you're there over the holidays.
The room was big and clean and the shower was honestly one of the best I've had in a hotel- great pressure, hot water and good placement of the shower head for shorter people. Breakfast was not bad, eggs and meat on alternating days plus rolls, bread and fruit salad. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The stay was not bad for a solo traveler. The room was OK, the bathroom facilities were good, shower worked well. Beds were OK, and breakfast was simple but enough for the morning. The staff is very friendly.
