Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt’s not hotel’s fault but there’s always a smell of dampness in hotel entrance area… and it looks a bit dated… Only the last day of our stay the cleaning the room wasn’t properly done (rubbish not collected and used glasses still untouched) but otherwise it was always cleaned/tidied well everyday. Again it’s not hotel’s fault, but I would recommend using an empty lift if possible not sharing with other guests. It’s because one time someone else got in our lift his key card didn’t work but stayed on and said he was going back to the ground level but I noticed the same person followed us on our floor. He quickly went back to the lift and when he noticed I looked back. He might have just been curious but I didn’t feel comfortable.
We stayed for 8 nights in this hotel and we chose for the premium club floor which is on 7th floor (top floor). Glad we did because 1) we could check in at club floor reception by the club lounge (very quiet!), 2) the room comes with a nice size balcony (further than #750, otherwise the building in front prevents the view!), 3) very nice bathroom with a tub, 4) free 2 items free laundry everyday! (It was really handy as you come back sweat every time you go out) on top of the access for club lounge which provides snacks in the afternoon and light meals with alcoholic drinks in the evening (6-8pm) and breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the ground level. Bed is very comfortable and having a separate shower from the tub is also nice! Haji lane and other interesting area is just across from the hotel by footbridge and the bus stop is right outside the hotel so it’s very convenient to going into town or marina area. We only used taxi from and back to the airport which also doesn’t cost too much (between 25-30 SGD). Staff are all nice, friendly and helpful at all times. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast but nothing spectacular though. However I found the Chinese congee was good! Otherwise you find almost everything you find in an ordinary hotel breakfast; cereals, fruit, bread, pancakes, eggs, etc… The pool was nice but I found that there could be more loungers as it gets busy pretty quickly. We didn’t use it but I was very impressed that we were even offered to use the shower facilities when we come back after the last minute sightseeing after check out! We just asked to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout but it would have been very helpful if our flight was late evening and you could refresh yourself before going to the airport! Overall very good experience and definitely recommend this hotel for a great location to explore Singapore!!

IndonesiaPrice/value (room and Singapore in general) At 200 US$ a night, without breakfast (and being on the cheaper end of accommodation in Singapore), there’s just no value or incentive to visit other than for work. After cleaning the room, the content of the emptied garbage bin was just forgotten in the bathroom. Not a major issue, just throw the whole contents again in the garbage bin, just not really acceptable at this price range.
Decent size room for Singapore. Strategic location close to Suntec. Good restaurants (Turkish/Mediterranean) across the street.

AustraliaNoise, chairs scraping across floors in the morning at breakfasts, was at level 2 and the noise seemed to come from level 3. hotel food tasteless & pretty average, hotel pool needs more thorough cleaning & service from chairs at poolside would be good and no doubt good revenue because people would probably spend more. Staff around pool just on phones, glasses & crockery not cleared around pool

Czech RepublicFirst of all we appreciated the location that was just perfect! Literally next to beautiful Kampong Glam and Haji Lane and all the highlights of Singapore were within 15 minutes by taxi. Breakfast was amazing and also loved the pool area and the gym. All for reasonable price considering you´re in Singapore. We would stay here again.

AustraliaThe hotel is very large and there is often a cleaning cart in the corridor. The towels in the pool area are a bit worn. But overall, the hotel is excellent.
The location is excellent, the pool is beautiful, the bed in the room is huge and the room itself is a very comfortable size for two people.

AustraliaThey accepted my booking however when I arrived, they informed me that rooms have been overbooked due to an event. I was transferred to a different hotel. At no extra cost but a slight inconvenience. I had preferred to remain at Parkroyal rather than move Marina Square.
Room at Marina Sq was spacious and complete with amenities.

South AfricaThe hotel did not have a ramp available which made it difficult to move our strollers up and down the lobby area.
The staff were exceptionally helpful. Thank you Sini and Vicky for helping us with our strollers/luggage and helping navigate us around the city. The rooms were perfect - neat and clean. The hotel is well located near Haji Lane/Arab street which would be ideal for Muslim guests. It is also a short walk to the MRT line.

United KingdomAppreciated cold, drinking water at reception but this had often run-out. Views from rooms at the back of the hotel (like ours) were not great.
Concierge staff very friiendly and helpful. Check in staff more business-like but still very good. Room very comfortable. Cleaning service excellent. Facilities and services excellent, especially pool, baggage storage and especially, especially option to use facilities to freshen up before departure (even after checkout). Location fantastic with Arab Street just across the road and MRT hub ten minutes walk away.
