Unfortunately the walls were very thin, so I could hear everything from the rooms around me, although I could still sleep well.

The location was really central and the personal extremly nice and also very courteous to store my bike safely on my trip. They also offered free towels (I booked a single room) and they had free chocolate for Easter, these might be small things, but quite unusual for a hostel. The bathrooms were also very clean, although there have been issues with flooding.

The room was not exactly like the advertisement. It was very minimal.

The guy at the reception was super helpful. Always and always wanting to help. Very proactive and always eager to hep. Very rare to find such guy. He gave us a very good impression. The room were not quite at the level that we were expecting but it was ok because we had a great first impression from the guy.

The hostel asked me my arrival time precisely even though I told that I was arriving time roughly; they said that they are not 24 hours reception. So, I was sending the update messages from time to time when my train delayed etc. But I found out the reception was open until 10pm. If so, I did not need to worry so much... My non smoking room smelled cigarette slightly (reported to the reception), but no air freshener was available. My next door was taking showers after 3AM and shut a door a few times very loudly. I woke up and was hard to go back to sleep...

Just the chlorine smell in the room. But i guess if you open the window for refreshing the air in the room, it should be fine. This is what we did.

We have stayed in the double room. Everything was fascinating! The minimalism of the room, cleanness of it, amazing positive and supportive staff, cosy working spaces, clean bathroom. And location!! It was in the center and even from the windows you may see very wonderful view! Highly recommended!

Some building work happening while I was there with workers in super early in the morning - would have been nice to be informed so I was prepared.

Really central location in the middle of everything you want to see. On top of that however really quiet where the hostel rooms are so you can get a good nights sleep. Its clean, good beds and well maintained bathrooms. Front desk is very friendly and welcoming with lots of recommendations. Recommend!

The only problem was there’s construction going on in the room next to me, and from 9 onwards you hear electric drills and jackhammers going off. The hostel was also completely empty the whole time. At most there were six people staying there so there was no atmosphere at all. I’m sure that’s not normal, but it would’ve been nice to have more people around especially as a solo traveller. Adhoc shouldn’t have let people stay during the construction.

Super clean and great location. The staffs are friendly. The best part is the locker which is HUGE! There’s three compartment and the bottom compartment can fit a full-size suitcase.

Open-plan design of the bathroom. There was no door between kitchen/hallway and the bathroom, that didn't feel so private.

A lot of privacy in dorm room, because beds were arranged in booths. Large lockers. Every bed had a nightstand and a power outlet.

Absolutely fantastic location - right in the centre of Ljubljana! Good price and helpful staff. It had basic kitchen facilities if you wanted to do your own food, but we did not use this.

Lack of access to air conditioning - was told the building couldn’t handle it hence they didn’t hand out the AC remote controls for rooms No full kitchen.

The proximity to the town was fantastic! Easy 20 min walk the the station too.

A bit of a hassle to get the Air con working. You have to tell them at reception and then they have to come up with you. First night no problem, second night they wanted to turn it off after an hour. But we could convince them to leave it on for the night, so all good.

We had a room in the 4th floor, highest one and had a vied of the castle. Sooo nice. Always someone there to help you. Clean, nice bathrooms

The location of this hostel is amazing, right on the river and close to lots of things to do see and eat! The staff are super friendly and helpful! Would recommend this hostel
