Breakfast was reasonably good, the room had a nice view and was comfortable. The location was ideal close to the station and centre. Staff were helpful. A good reliable place to stay

Very much a corporate hotel for big groups, conferences etc (so not much character - all rooms exactly the same, restaurant for breakfast felt a bit like a staff canteen etc) Rooms newly refurbished - but the shower leaked all over the floor

I had no complaints. It's not a quaint historical facility with a charming atmosphere. It's straightforward, solid accommodation. That's what I wanted.

Hotel SATEL is a solid value, similar in my mind to a "business hotel." Nothing fancy about the room and faciltieis, which were good and serviceable. I had a single room, which was a nice size. Clean and well-appointed. The location is very convenient to both transport and the (few) tourist sights in the town. Given that Poprad itself isn't that close to the mountains, the fact that you can easily and quickly get to the Tatra Express train is very advantageous. The staff was pleasant and professional. I thought it was a good value.

our newly refurbished room in this large hotel was very comfortable. just a short walk from the station but also handy for the restaurants in the town centre.

They have different mattresses in different rooms and this time we got a too soft one. It was late at night so I didn't bother but next time I'll ask for a change.

Absolutely nothing.

The hotel is less than 10 mins walking distance from station. The rooms are good and clean. We got a good view from our room. The receptionists and staff are also very helpful, they guided us on the map and to do things in surrounding location like Tatranska Lomnica and others. Breakfast was also good. There are also many restaurants and mall close by. Definitely recommended!

coffee in the rooms would be good. the shower head was attached to the wall at waist height so you had to hold it to have a shower which I don’t like.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and a few minutes walk from the city center. From outside it looks a bit old, but rooms are already very nicely renovated. Everything was clean, stuff was nice and breakfast exactly as I wished for.

The nearby area around the train station does not seem to be safe enough, though it is not the hotel's fault, but maybe it would worth talking to the police about this issue. The hotel needs new windows, as those were bit old, but as we read, the renovation is among their closest plans.

Hotel Satel is a great place to spend some days close to the Tatra Mountains - it is very simple to organize excursions, as the hotel is really close to the train station. (About 5 minutes) We asked for a room with view to the mountains and we got one, and as we arrived too early, the staff was able to help us with an early check-in, that made us really happy. Breakfast was rich and various, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I assume Hotel Satel is among the best hotels of the town.

The building is a bit old, hence the windows aren’t keeping the cold outside so especially when it was -10 or -15 degrees outside. Hopefully they will find a solution for that.
