IrelandThe pool was being fixed or renovated and we didn’t find out until we got there. It worked out fine because we had the beach but it would have been nice to know before hand.
Location is on a beautiful part of the beach, away from the busy parts. Long tail taxi boat included on arrival and can be arranged for departure.

Czech RepublicThe swimming pool was under maintenance and I think it should have been informed in my reservation not when I got to the hotel. You need to improve the coffee quality, for me, offering instant coffee in breakfast is unacceptable.
The location is good, the rooms are nice and the view is amazing. The breakfast was ok.

Hungaryroom, bathroom and furniture in shockingly poor condition minor daily cleaning is done, but a large general cleaning and small preparations would be very useful in the room and terrace as well bathroom is not ventilated at all overall: for this amount of money we could not have gotten better accommodation anywhere else in Phi Phi, but we were very disappointed by the condition of the room, which is very far from the level expected from the photos of the accommodation reco to the management: we probably would have booked the same place if we had seen the real condition in the photos without shocking and disappointment

United KingdomMy main complaints are as follows. I paid for the most expensive room available. It was described as a beachside small villa with photos looking like it was actually on the beach. It was not, it was up a really steep hill that overlooked the sea view. The rooms were not as well-decorated as the ones shown in the photos. The walk from the piers to the Bay View resort was really long, well over 10mins. Then the walk from reception to the villa was incredibly trying going up and down a narrow path. This is not advised for anyone with walking or health issues. I would not stay there again for this reason. The swimming pool could not be used and was under maintenance and lots of areas to include the reception, bar, and beachside properties looked like they could do with a coat of paint. I've lived in Thailand as an expat for over 15years so I know what to expect and for the money I thought this was unacceptable. I paid nearly 5,000baht a night.
The beach view from the room was stunning. The private beach in front of the room was superb and quiet. This quiet beach was one of the major highlights of this resort. The are surrounding the rooms was very peaceful but this comes with a compromise. The Bayview is a very long walk from the Tonsai pier and the main village and shops.

BelgiumAll the bungalows are on a hill, be ready to climb it. Tv was not working in our room. We received separate beds that we put next to eachother ourserselves. Hotel is in need of a good refresh, furniture looks old, the breakfast place has so much potential but is not being highlighted. A plus would be to have a real coffee machine instead of powder coffee.

They did come to fix it ASAP each time we asked, but it was a recurring thing not a huge issue Also, not sure if it’s done or not, but access to a hotel took took would be nice from the back and room to the main reception as it’s quite a hike after a long day of walking and exploring can be a bit of a exclamation

The resort was in a good location. On a quiet end of Ton Sai Pier and 15 mins walk into the centre. The resort looked nice and we had exceptional view from our balcony. Good beach just by the room. Breakfast was great. Wide range of food to choose from. Nice staff.

beautiful views from our room, a bit of a walk to the main bars and restaurants but we didn’t mind this. rooms are a little dated and weren’t particularly clean. drinking glasses not changed or bedding but in all honesty for the price we really loved it. we didn’t spend much time in the room so those things were really minor. the air con was amazing though!

There was an amazing view from the room. We spent a few evenings sat out watching the boats and the sunset. The staff were very helpful, and they carried our bags up to our room which was much appreciated. Also the water taxi picked us up from the pier when we arrived, making it a lot easier to get to the hotel.

AustraliaThe pathways were in need of repair and the bathroom needed and upgrade, broken tiles. Toilet right next to shower so always got wet and no hand towels. The smell from the drain was disgusting and went through the whole room.... had to block it to hide the smell. TV did not work and fridge was completely iced over, had to defrost it before we could use it.
The balcony views were amazing, location was fantastic. Was cute seeing the friendly cats. We even saw a few kamodo dragon lizards.

Uphill walk to villa we weren’t prepared for, if you’re an eager hiker then you’ll be fine (don’t take big cases). A little far from phi phi centre but no issue.
Beach front- absolutely stunning. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Clean & air con worked perfectly.
