The Memory On-On is an historic hotel set in the middle of Old Town and on the doorstep of the Sunday market. The rooms are small but comfortable and there are plenty of areas exclusive to guests for relaxing - albeit under a fan. There is no lift or pool but there is fabulous and helpful staff and an amazing experience of the older architecture. There were hot and cold drinks and snacks available for all guests. This was a great location for a 2-3 nights.

The Memory at On On Hotel is full of charm and history. Perfectly located in the centre of Old Town, you’re steps away from cafés, markets, and stunning Sino‑Portuguese streets. The building itself is a beautifully restored piece of Phuket’s heritage, with artistic touches throughout. The staff are exceptional and very warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.

The Memory at On On was one of our favorite stays while traveling in Thailand. The hotel is charming and distinctive and I loved our beautiful calligraphy themed room. The Sunday night market was fun and festive and is literally at your doorstep. But it was the warm and friendly staff that made it the best. Jenny and Nathan helped us with recommendations, arranging travel and overall were so delightful to chat with.

This hotel is located perfectly in Phuket. It's directly in Old town, which is perfect for walking around at night. The staff were extremely accommodating, especially Gigi, who I got a little 'Karen' with at first when I arrived because he was being so thorough. I showed up a couple of nights early and he very quickly got me into a beautiful room, one on the bottom floor. I would highly recommend one of these bottom floor rooms. When I came back for my second stay, I had a different room, for a lower price, which was still nice. Gigi helped me get a taxi multiple days and in general helped me with many questions I had about which islands to visit and how to get there. He even arranged for me to get to the port that went to Koh Kao Kai, which was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Charming Hotel in the Heart of Old Town Great location right in Phuket Old Town—walking distance to so many amazing food spots. The hotel has a lovely, nostalgic vibe that adds to the experience. The rooms are a bit small, but it really didn’t matter as we were out most of the time. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful—especially when my baggage was delayed by the airline. They coordinated with the airline and made sure it arrived safely at the hotel. Overall, a wonderful stay with great service and lots of places to eat nearby. Highly recommended!

It was quite noisy late into the night when we stayed, it sounded like construction work, however our fireinds were in a different room and didnt hear anything.

The building is beautiful and very atmospheric, the staff were wonderful and helpful, the property is extremely well located. The rooms are stylish and comfortable.

Dreamily perfect! The location and value can't be beat. It was clean, the staff were fabulous, rooms/beds were comfortable, shower was amazing, and there were snacks in the lobby for guests. The Sunday market is right outside the door, and the charm was incredible.

I genuinely sat here trying to think of something that could be improved, but it wasn’t easy, everything about this place was just that good. If I had to point out one small thing, it would be that a few more spots to hang towels would be helpful. That’s it, it was an incredible stay and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful. The decoration throughout the place was unique and charming, with lots of thoughtful touches. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Annie, Jenny, and Alan were so friendly and attentive, they really made the experience feel personal. I’d definitely come back!

For a short stay, not much can go wrong here. Great place for stay in Old Town.

Location, right in the heart of Old Phuket Town and all of the must try bars / restaurants are just a short walk. Great experience, walking the street. Very friendly and locally aware staff - Tiw and Alan very extremely knowledgable and helpful in aspects like renting a car, suggesting must try bars and restaurants.

I love staying here - the ambiance is nostalgic without being twee. The beds are snuggly and comfortable, and the pillows are the best I've had since I left home :-) I also love the proximity to the Sunday walking street (now streets!). A special shout out to staff members, Nathan and Jenny, who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. I'll definitely be back!
