Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaFantastic location with easy access to light rail system. Staff were very friendly , especially Kaan on Front Desk who provided a lot of information, on local places of interests , tours etc. I would stay here again when returning to Istanbul.

IrelandWe would have used the pool more if it was open earlier e.g. from 8am instead of 10am and we were not totally confident about the cleanliness as there was an object lying at the bottom of the pool for a few days. The roof terrace is lovely but expensive for alcoholic drinks.
Excellent location for seeing the Blue Mosque, Basillica Cistern etc. Great to have a pool and sauna on site. Some of the local restaurants were more affordable for food and drink than other areas.

SlovakiaThe spa is not worth it - it is small, not very clean and water in pool is cold. Hamam is not any nice, and not well prepared for the accidental visit. Room was very small, far away from 15 sq meters. They changes it after 2 days when I requested twice and sad there was an empty room in our corridor. We got 2 extra meters and it helped us because we were with a baby. The rooms were clean, but under the bed it was big mess. They changed towels every day when we dropped them on the ground. Breakfast is almost the same every day, not much varieties, but it was OK. Staff was always smiley and almost often keen to help.
Room was nice and cozy, food was average and staff was kind. Hotel has good location but the street is a bit noisy.

United KingdomThe fact that when we checked in we was given the smallest room in the building but amazingly when we went to use the shower the shower cubicle was missing a DOOR literally a door missing which is a bit shocking also the shower head was partially broken opon requesting another room they said that’s all we have , really was a like it or lump it situation , after stating the first night we was moved into another room without issues (wasn’t nice being forced to stay in a room without a functioning shower for the first night after we arrived off a long flight ) we was not offered compensation or anything for this situation (apart from the first night shower thing the stay was good they just could of dealt with it better)
We really liked the hotel and location nice hotel staff good too (once missing shower door was addressed)

GreeceThe breakfast needs to be improved. First of all there is no variety. There is extra charge for some basic things like omelette and orange juice. Also it would be nice to be served in the terrace instead of the basement. Last but not least housekeeping ladies have to respect do not disturb sign (they entered in my room twice while i was sleeping) and avoid using the vacuum cleaner during the morning.
The staff is super friendly and attentive. The room was big, clean and situated at the back of the building with a Bosporus view. The spa area with the sauna was perfect. Also i want to mention that the location was excellent!

Room doesn't look like the picures -> are much smaller and not so cute. Staff were really polite We got a value deal but normal price would not be worthy in my opinion.

EgyptFood quality of breakfast is very poor, May seem as variety but the quality is bad, many items are not fresh and kept for the next day. I would have rather had lesser options but fresh and tasty. Quality over quantity. Housekeeping is not good, definitely can do better with proper supervision.
Location is incredible, you are connected to anything and everything in Istanbul. The front office team are all very courteous, friendly and helpful. Room is good and updated with smart TV!

KazakhstanThe sound of tram and mosques were annoiyng, especially early in the morning. The prices in restaurants and cafes were extremely high, it is very dissapointing. A taxi cannot reach the hotel, you have to walk with your belongings about 100-150 meters.
The location is right nearby squares of Blue Mosque and Aia-Sophia. The tram station is right by the corner. The breakfast was ok. We had lovely room, clean and fresh.
