The latch on the door needs fixed so the door stays shut. The carpet could be a little cleaner. The guests in the next room could be heard through the bathroom door.

The continental breakfast in the 24/7 kitchen was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have picked a better place for the location. If you're looking to stay at a modern hotel this place is not for you. If you're looking for a comfortable room that takes you back in time, give A Sentimental Journey a try.

The convenience to downtown and the restaurants was excellent. We could walk to so many great restaurants. The ice cream shop was terrific and the front porch inviting.

Our room (1) was crowded with too much furniture. It was difficult to find room to put our things. The roku tv was a disappointment. I wished there was at least network TV. The AC was noisy and the road noise was a nuisance.

Loved the location and the charm of the place. The breakfast was ok but I would have liked some decaf coffee pods. The host was very friendly and helpful.

there was plenty of breakfast items to eat. Perfect. And the location was perfect and the owners were so awesome! Helped us of what to do our on our stay. Room was so huge . Had the down stairs king size bed. So comfortable. We definitely will stay here again!!

No fridge in room 3b. TV didn't work.

Second visit staying here. The hosts are so lovely and helpful. I had rooms 3a and 3b and had plenty of space. The big bonus is the 24x7 kitchen where you can help yourself to breakfast and snacks. I was travelling on a budget and the bfast was great. Kind and generous hosts who assisted me and my luggage to the bus station. Room was comfortable but I would pick Room 3a next time as it was brighter and more spacious and has a mini fridge. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Gettysburg.

We eat low carb fare and there was a lot of high-carb snacks and treats available. If you don't have glycemic issues this is the breakfast and snack place for you.

Our first night a breaker tripped so we had no bathroom light but the owner came as soon as we called and it was all sorted.

The rooms were very clean and super cute. Our room was WW II themed and our daughter was in the 1920's. The owners were super helpful and knowledgeable.
