Everything! Ended up not staying and finding somewhere else to stay. The room was dirty…dirty towels with hair stuck to it…wood flooring loose ( look like a 10 yr old put in the flooring) and coming up…dirty shower/shower curtain. Nasty ass blow dryer (stuff all over the handle) dirty ironing board. Ant traps sitting around in different areas of the room. Also an irate man yelling for about 30 minutes around the parking on his cell phone when my husband and I arrived to the hotel (and continued his yelling when we went to our room) Old hotel furniture sitting in the parking lot along with the main office boarded up to where you couldn’t go inside. Had to use a outdoor phone to speak to the front desk and give info through a window slot.

Had to ask for lightbulbs for nightstand lamps. Blow dryer had been ripped from wall and was hanging by a thread. Shower nozzle nice and talk- and sprayed onto inner wall- could not adjust. Bathroom had dry rot. Towels were stained ( or possibly dirty?). Bugs in bathroom. Icky. The guy at the front desk was very kind, but I chose to sleep with a little table up against the door. Just didn’t feel safe- although the night was uneventful.

The room was dirty, smelled of cigarettes (when we requested a non-smoking room), the tv was sad and super small, and the bed was so uncomfortable. I was honestly afraid we were going to have bugs when we got home. The picture looks so pretty but honestly you are getting this room where every single time you flushed the toilet it would make this horrible screeching sound. There is a horror movie called "No Vacancy" I thought what happened in that movie might happen to us. When we asked the front desk guy where could we go eat food, he only suggested the most expensive places. When I asked about something cheaper he stumped.

That it had availability when we needed it.

You had people's fighting at 3am woke up my family and the office did not about it when I asked to move room they said NO!! the room I was in had roaches for me to paid over $300 you will think it would have be and awesome room American value inn need to do some work on there property

The rooms definitely need updated. Floors were cracked, the caulking in the bathroom were black, towels were stained.

it's just needs a lot of work, rooms were dirty. Interior needs a lot of work. This place has potential they just seem to lack the desire for it to be a nice place. Paint drips everywhere.

Never in my life have I left a hotel due to cleanliness, well there is a first for everything. As soon as I walk into the room I was overwhelmed by how incredibly filthy it was. Hair EVERYWHERE, unknown substances crusted to the comforter, unswept and unmopped floors were just the tip of the iceberg. After taking some videos I went back to the front desk and explained, a manager met me at the room and I showed her the issues. She never apologized, never even acknowledged the problem and casually said they could upgrade me to a king bed. The bed size was not the issue and I left after being informed my reservation would be canceled and refund issued. Now 4 days later neither has been done and I am fighting with that. Like I advised them staff you could pay me to stay here, save your money.

Couldn't even be in room because of bleach smell, bugs in the room, toilet paper holder fell off wall in bathroom. Pool was green and used as storage area for old furniture. Will never stay here again

Working ice machine. Being able to check in when desired (1430 hours) - instead was told to come back after 1600 hours. Put a towel on rack, it broke. Towels were stained or torn. Staff was not friendly, more like they've given up caring.

Nothing. The parking lot was full of furniture, the ice machine was broken (we were told to go the the AM/PM). The place is dingy and not taken care of.
