At least provide some seasoning in the kitchen room, Storage space for food is not enough so definitely check if there is still available space before you buy your foods

A few blocks away and round union square a lot of homeless and people on drugs / alcohol. Did not feel safe walking area late at night as a 28 year old woman Wouldn’t stay in this area as a family or single traveller San Fransisco expensive hotels - same star hotel in Chicago same price for 4 nights not 2

Good sized room and nice shower Friendly staff. Stored baggage for us as leaving late in evening Close to Chinatown, bus and tram stops a few blocks away

Noisy French tudents at 2am. Same didn't clean up after themselves very well in kitchen.

Staff could be more pro active and engaging with their guests. Had to wait 15min before they were ready to check me in.

No hair dryer or TV. Bad isolation and ventilation. The room was next to the common kitchen so it was very noisy and all the smells somehow entered the room.

I stayed at the private deluxe queen room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice. Everything was clean. Good location, short walk from Bart, felt safe and street was quiet.

Some inconsiderate guests could come in late at night and making noises by eating chips. My feedback to hostel management is to disallow eating or drinking inside the shared dorm room. Better to set a rule so they should only eat / drink in the lounge area or private room. Cleaning is not done every day so the room and bathroom can get dirty after a few days.

I can't think of many things honestly, only thing that comes to my mind is that in the bathroom there wasn't handsoap, didn't ask for it though since I had my own and my stay was quite short. Also, since the location is uphill, I would recommend other travellers to arrive by any type of car so you don't tire tourselves too much carring your luggages uphill.... if you wanna arrive walking try walking along Bush ST. and then turn left on Taylor ST. In my experience it felt less tiring that way :)

Very quick check-in, the staff were always available to help whenever I asked for directions or recommendations for places to visit. The kitchen was nice place to cook something quick or have a cup of tea o coffee when you wanted, also the patio/terrace area was really nice even at night when it was windy in the city, you couldn't feel it there bc of the walls around it. The room was what it was described, very clean and neat, remember to take a lock with you so you can use your storage box without feeling worried about the other people sharing the room with you. Lastly, it was nice that there was a room available to leave your bags the day you check-out if needed.

Bed was hard to climb on at times but was comfy enough for good rest.

Location was amazing: close to all public transportation, stores, and restaurants. Rooms can feel a little cramped depending on the roommates luggage but was still clean and comfy enough to rest well.

The rooms shouldn’t be co for all. As if Muslim men andwomen are staying alone. They get very uncomfortable.

There was no elevator, and it was really difficult on my back to carry my big suitcase up the stairs.

The price, cleanliness, and location was excellent, and the staff were very nice.

The noise you hear of people talking at reception from the room. I heard a drunk man screaming at night. The bed was not comfortable.
