The owner was extremely nice and he gave us an upgrade to a king size bed. Being that we had pets in the car and also that I am handicapped I liked that we could park right in front of the room.

There wasn't enough hot water to get a shower. It got Luke warm about half way through. The rooms are VERY dated but not a big deal if you're not looking for something fancy. Not DIRTY but not extremely clean either like my mirror had not been cleaned

The Staff were extremely friendly. The price was very good. The bed was comfortable and the AC was great!

The room smelled a bit musty, could have been aired out better but we could open the window. The day we arrived we killed ten flies in our room. We had the door open while bringing in suitcases so maybe some got in then but through the evening more kept getting in somehow. The next morning there were two more.

Convenient location, appropriate price. We wanted an early check in and they accommodated us. We were able to park right outside our door.

Facilities are dated & could use some general upkeep but quite serviceable in a very convenient location with excellent affordability.

Room & bathroom neat & clean. Ice machine near office with plenty of ice. Innkeeper went out of his way to help me locate my room and was attentive & pleasant. Heater/airconditioner, microwave, mini fridge all worked well. Comfortable bed & pillows, plenty of hot water for shower. Next door is a restaurant serving breakfast lunch & dinner and just down the road there is a kwik fill station plus a dairy queen chill&grill. Budget Inn is a good choice for a brief stopover in Clearfield.

looking out of the window facing the rear of the establishment is a large yard with a discarded sink sitting in the middle of it. There is also a random desk sitting in one of the breezeways. The room had about 1/4 roll of TP in it, so we obviously had to ask for more. it’s supposed to be non smoking, but the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and there was a burn hole in the blanket. The comforter smelled pretty bad too.

The room was quiet! The heat is baseboard, so no fan from the A/C unit.

Our room smelled musty. Walls are very thin. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking. Luckily everyone was quiet during the time we were sleeping.

We rented this room because of the amazing low price! Gentleman at the desk was very nice. He checked us in at night and was there to check us out in the morning. This property is an older style motel and the building and our room were a bit dated. However we found the room to be clean and the bed to be comfortable. We also enjoyed a good hot shower. Room was minimally furnished with a mini refrigerator, microwave, and TV. No telephone, hair dryer nor coffee maker but coffee was available in the lobby in the morning. There is a restaurant right next door. They are closed two days a week so we didn’t get a chance to check it out. However there is another terrific little place called Dutch Pantry just a couple of miles away that offers good food at a great price.

The room was a little chilly.....didn't realize that the A/C was also the furnace...my fault! But maybe should have a sign informing guest.

Guests get a 10% discount at the "Farm to Table" resturant next door. Had a 1960s vibe. especially the bathroom which was exceptionally clean. Ground level room, no stairs to climb. easy access from vehicle.

The slide lock of the door was not secure and could have been easily broken if someone was to try to get in.
